You Can Now Begin Reserving Names for WoW Classic

In News

WoW Classic is launching toward the end of August, and eager  players can already stake a piece of their adventure. Starting today, players with an active subscription or game time on their World of Warcraft account can create up to three characters per WoW account in advance of WoW Classic’s worldwide release on Monday, August 26 at 3:00 p.m. PDT.

To do this, simply start up your Battle.Net launcher. If you have WoW Classic installed, simply navigate to the game selector at the bottom and launch it. Players will be taken to the character creation screen for WoW Classic, after selecting a server. From here, simply create a new toon and name it, which counts as your name reservation. As a reminder, you can do this two more times.

Information about how to create a character, the full realm listing for each region, and some resources to help players reconnect with old friends and guildmates can be found on the Blizzard WoW blog at: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/23086691
