Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 4 Arrives November 28th

ArenaNet and Guild Wars 2 have announced the release date of its Living World Season 4 update. The brand new story chapter will hit Guild Wars 2 on November 28th. Players who log in during the period will receive the update for free. To start playing, simply check your in-game mailbox or navigate to the personal story tab in the Hero panel.

To celebrate the announcement, there’s a new teaser trailer that shows of 7 seconds of new footage. It’s not much, but it is still a glimpse of what players can expect. On another note, it’s also surprising that Season 4 is coming out this soon. The Path of Fire expansion is only a month old, so there’s no doubt that the playerbase are happy about this. For comparison, Season 3 took months and months to release its first chapter after the Heart of Thorns expansion.

From a story point of view, things are heating up. The Elder Dragons are back in play after taking a back seat in the expansion. It also appears that the cast of characters will reunite in full once more for the upcoming Season 4. There still is no hints on whether or not there will be a new dungeon incoming, but that’s one thing I’d like to see added this season.

Check out the teaser trailer below, and the official site for more information.
