Neverwinter Shroud of Souls Update Goes Live For PC
Free to play MMORPG Neverwinter by Cryptic Studios has unleashed it’s latest content update, Shroud of Souls. The new update continues the path set by its successor, the Cloaked Ascendancy update.
Players can log in now and expect to receive brand new story content. The Shroud of Souls takes players into an “alternate reality” version of Neverwinter. The city is now in literally twisted, which is a cool new take that’s not seen before in the game.
Besides the new story content, there is also a few big improvements when it comes to quality of life. The new Guild update we talked about earlier this week has also gone live, further enhancing the Strongholds pack. In addition to that, a new story chain in the River District is also playable.
Perhaps the most exciting addition this update is the option to customize character load-outs. Players can now manage their gear builds for all activities in-game. It’s a feature that the community has been calling for, so it’s great to see it delivered. You now have the freedom to create different builds for both PVE and PVP, and the best part is you can swap between them with ease.
