Albion Online To Release Hector Update On June 7th
Albion Online will release its final content update on June 7th. The Hector update is the quintessential patch, and is the final version of the game. In other words, what players see in the new update will be set in stone come launch in July.
The Hector patch seeks to bring some changes to the game that positive. For starters, there will be a massive overhaul to the Outlands maps. Cities are being removed in favor for a single Caerleon portal.
The other popular change is that to Hellgates. These PVP dungeons are now getting a variety of difficulty levels and in early zones as well. Players have been wanting to experience these early. And now they have a chance to do so without the grief.
Another big update is that there will be a new Black Market vendor. The vendor buys items from crafters and re-sells the times to the mobs and chests in the world. This means that adventurous players now have a chance to earn valuable drops again. But this is if only the crafting player base are all caught up to the item in question. In general, it’s a fantastic change that will balance out the game’s itemization system.
