New Midyear Mayhem PvP Event Coming To Elder Scrolls Online
The Elder Scrolls Online will be introducing a brand new event this month. The Midyear Mayhem is a PvP-centric event, that will run from July 20th until July 31st.
During the event, players can participate in Cyrodiil, Imperial City or the new 4v4v4 Battlegrounds for some excellent rewards. These include rare crafting materials, PvP gear, double Alliance Points and new cosmetic for the event. The Midyear Victor’s Laurel Wreath hat (that’s a mouthful) is a unique head cosmetic which will only be available during the event.
When the event does go live, here is a step by step instruction on how to get started (Thanks MMORPG!):
- Navigate to the Crown Store to acquire and activate a ticket entitled “Details on the Midyear Mayhem”
- Travel to your Alliance War faction’s main gate in Cyrodiil using the Alliance War menu
- Find the quest giver “Predicant Maera” and pick up the quest “Midyear Mayhem”
- Complete the quest to receive your Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and a Pelinal’s Midyear Boon Box
- Activate the scroll to enjoy a two-hour, 100% bonus to Alliance Points earned in the following PvP game modes (Duels excluded):
- Alliance War (Cyrodiil)
- Imperial City (Needs Imperial City DLC game pack)
- Battlegrounds (Needs ESO: Morrowind DLC)
The Midyear Mayhem is a great new event that caters to the PvP crowd. This further elevates ESO’s mantra of offering something for everyone, and including players of all play styles to enjoy the game. For more information about the event, check out the official website here.
