Mad World is an MMORPG at its core with unique hand-drawn art presented in 2D isometric style, the story of which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans struggle to survive under the rule of demons.

While offering PVE Raid, Boss Battles and PVP Instances among many other familiar MMO features, Mad World will try to focus more on the combat and community aspects, where the genre shines the brightest, to stand out from the crowd.  Furthermore, Mad World’s H.P.Lovecraft-inspired grim dark setting and story seek to give players many emotional experiences through quests, experimenting with elements not often found in the genre.

Built on HTML5, Mad World will be playable on browsers supporting cross-play between the PC and Mobile without a client download, and Jandisoft hopes this will open the door to as many players as possible and create one big melting pot of players coming from various different platforms.

AIGRIND announces the winter holidays update “Breath of Frost” for cross platform MMORPG Warspear Online. The traditional winter event has started and a new holiday island with holiday quests and special treasures awaits all guests. To get there you need to find a Snowy Bound Herald in any big town in the game. The event will last until the end of January.

Holiday Event Features

Holiday quests. Many different quests with rewards including gold and experience: from launching fireworks and collecting presents to clashes with players of the opposite alliance. If you complete the main storyline you will reveal the Paladin of Frost’s true identity and get collectible decorative rewards.

Dungeons. Six dungeons for every character’s level filled with monsters and traps. Rewards include top equipment with new bonus “Resistance”, crafting resources other treasures.

Group bosses. Four mighty enemies of different levels that drop unique weapons and other precious trophies.

Attractions. Solo and group, they are a rich source of Good luck tokens that may be exchanged at vendors for costumes and other rewards.

Massive battle. A great battle with the army of Paladin of Frost is activated several times a day. It consists of six stages; after each all participants get a chest with a random reward.

Guild raid boss. Paladin of Frost is the main villain of the holiday that only guilds can cope with. The battle against him is the hardest challenge of the event, and victory will bring a Mortis’s Treasury to all guild members.

The zombie apocalypse is coming again, and Dead Maze is bringing it back in style. Dead Maze is a 2D isometric MMO that will be free to play at launch, which will be early 2018. The game is set in a modern world where zombies thrive and players must cooperate to survive. It’s store page is already up on Steam, and players can sign up for the CBT on the official website.

What intrigues me about Dead Maze are the mechanics. You’ll need to keep your character’s hunger and thirst up, while scavenging the world for resources. The graphics are also a throwback to old school MMOs from the past. There are over 200 different items and weapons to find and craft in the game, which is also pretty cool. There’s a sense of vulnerability too, as death can be lurking around every corner. Other aspects of the game such as its story and progression is still a mystery. We’re hoping to get a CBT invite so we can check everything out in full.
