The update, which went live on March 31, sees the return of the previously popular Rock n Scroll Event. During this event, which is set to run until April 28, players can purchase Rubies which are limited to one per account (ArcheLife users can gain an additional Ruby for free). After acquiring these Rubies, players will receive Gem Upgrade Scrolls for every 30 minutes they are logged in. The scrolls can then be used to upgrade Rubies to a maximum of 12 times. Another event that commenced in-game on March 31 is a Double the Gain Event which is planned to run until April 14. Within this two week period, players can receive double XP and an increase in loot drop rates, quest honor points, and vocation badges. More details on the Double the Gain Event can be found here.

Additionally, brand new content has been added to the Fresh Start Server. Players can now take up arms against the Black Dragon – a Raid Boss lurking in Red Dragon’s Keep in the Karkasse region. Driven by a lust for revenge, this formidable beast will reduce anything in its path to cinders with its fiery breath and intimidating health pool. For more details click here.

Along with the Black Dragon Raid Boss, a new Brilliant Erenor Cloak has been added. Five variants of the cloak are available which grant players considerable bonuses to stats such as maximum health, movement speed, and attack speed. The cloak can only be crafted or upgraded using the Radiant Erenor Cloak Awakening Scroll – an in-game item that has also debuted in the update. For more info read here.

In no particular order, the following gamigo games are currently holding Halloween-themed events:

• Trove – Shadow’s Eve has arrived in Trove! The event features a number of new quests, including an 11-part adventure where players help new allies – the Order of the Moon – fight off the werewolf curse of Quberus, a new Delve Biome (The Wolves’ Den), new enemies to combat, and new vendors. Several fan favorites are also returning, such as Explosive Pumpkins, Tasty Candy Corn, and pumpkin dungeons.
• Fiesta Online – A tricky new Halloween maze awaits players in gamigo’s anime MMORPG, Fiesta Online, that hopefully won’t cause them to go mad as they attempt to avoid spooky pumpkins on their way through the Maze of Madness! The keeper of the maze, Pumpkin Bob awaits players in the center to offer rich rewards as long as they can win this battle.
• Aura Kingdom – The Hauntings of Azuria have caused plenty of monsters, wolves, and undead to pop up and it’s up to players to fight them off. A Halloween Letter Collection Event, several creepy dungeon crawls, updates to the Bard and Reaper, and plenty of additional holiday-themed events await you in the land of Azuria.
• Last Chaos – Watch out! There are pumpkins and scarecrows looking to cause havoc to players foolish enough to cross their path! Halloween has found its way into the dark fantasy world of Last Chaos from October 26 until November 08, 2021! Players can collect the pumpkin head from the scarecrow to help gather pumpkins, and then take them back to the spooky strawman to receive their treats. He also takes empty baskets and exchanges them for candy. Watch out, because the giant pumpkin boss can appear at any time… he drops a special parchment with a spell on creating a pumpkin pet! Those feeling brave may want to follow Abraxas, the Demon Knight, to the Lost City in Dratan for some Halloween-themed rewards.
• Shaiya – It’s zombie hour in Shaiya! The invading undead need to be defeated quickly but beyond that, players shouldn’t forget to help Pin, Fuse and Lug with their quests! But who doesn’t like a pumpkin spiced zombie smoothie for Halloween? Players collect Bronze, Silver and Golden Pumpkins to craft the permanent wings “The Nightmare before Halloween” and much more. And what’s that waiting there, deep in the desert… a new boss?! Halloween in Shaiya takes place between October 26 and November 21, 2021.
• RIFT – It’s Autumn Harvest once again in gamigo’s epic fantasy MMORPG, RIFT, between October 21 and November 18, 2021. It’s time to change your wardrobe into something scary to prepare for Halloween… jack-o-lanterns and skulls all around, please! Players have to complete weekly and daily quests and earn event currency to buy spooky mounts, eerie pets, accessories, devilish costumes and much more!
• Echo of Soul – Autumn celebrations are all around Friggard in MMORPG Echo of Soul – but something spooky… something twisted has slowly crept into this world, casting its shadow upon the realm. Between October 20 and November 24, 2021, players can travel to Bernicia and talk to its citizens about Halloween. Doing so will lead them on their path to help drive away Kostus, the Halloween Party disruptor and to receive rich rewards.

With so many tricks and treats awaiting players across multiple gamigo games, on Twitch, and online, we recommend having several candy buckets available for the avalanche of rewards that can be earned. Just don’t earn too much at once or else you might end up with a tummy ache.

Players who enjoy fighting from the distance, but are tired of stringing their bows, now have a chance to transform themselves into a ruthless, rifle-wielding adventurer. The new Gunslinger skillset combines potent ranged attacks with a variety of critical debuffs, guaranteed to give you an edge in combat. Combined with any of the existing skillsets, the Gunslinger skillset introduces a total of 66 new classes to explore.

In the western parts of Auroria, an ancient enemy emerges in the Ipnya Ridge. Players can explore this new zone and join forces with players from all factions to face their foes in the Akasch Invasion. Players can also explore a new chronicle quest: The Nuon Dragon War, and unveil the truth behind the sudden changes in the Karkasse Ridgelands.

XLGAMES will be opening its first New Server “Gene” on 25^th February (Thursday) and unveil vast and expansive content up to the Western Hiram Mountains. Character creation is limited to one per account while the new and powerful races of each faction, the Dwarves and Warborns, are available from the very start.

The game will host celebratory events to commemorate the opening of the new server. Players in the “Gene” server will receive a variety of items as gifts to help their characters progress through the game swiftly up to a hundred hours of game played.

The latest content update “The Garden of the Gods” will be showcased in the current active servers “Nui” and “Tahyang.” This new content expands on the deep and immersive lore of the game where players will experience the magical place, the birthplace of the stories and history of Auroria. Old tales say that this is the exact garden that was created by the Mother Goddess Siol during the Dawn Age, the beginning of all life and everything in between in our world.

Other various contents will also be available for heroes to equip them for a far-reaching and breathtaking journey laid ahead of them. Exalted Hiram Guardian Equipment, Brilliant Erenor Equipment, will be introduced, and Erenor Golden Altar Dungeon, and the mighty Enhanced Anthalon, the new and powerful field raid boss in the Garden of the Gods, will be released as well.

The biggest difference between the live servers and this new version is the payment model. Unchained is not free to play, and requires a one time purchase. Right now there are three pre-order packages available, and after launch the game will stick by it’s one time fee in the range of $30. There also isn’t an optional subscription or Patron status for bonuses. This implies of course, that players can expect no P2W. Players cannot transfer items, Credits or characters between the live servers and Unchained.

Diligence Coins and Lootboxes

One way the game aims to keep things fresh and fair is by changing a few mechanics. For example in Unchained, there’s a new Diligence Coin currency awarded to players for simply playing the game. It can be spent in the new Diligence shop to purchase cosmetics. The ArchePass is also getting a revamp, and players can upgrade it to Premium using Credits. Unlike the live version, again most of what you can get are cosmetics. When it comes to lootboxes, say goodbye to them because they won’t be on Unchained.

Fair PvE/PvP Progresion and Gameplay

Another big change to Unchained is with its Labor system. The new version will adopt the Korean Labor System which allows 3000 server labor points, and there’s no paying for LP using real money here. The Marketplace is also going to make players happy. Majority of items on it provide cosmetics – no stats, no Labor regeneration and no mounts, only Glider skins. In the Housing deparment, much of what exists already will be the same except players can no longer buy tax certificates. There will also be a land-lock until the first Saturday after release, ensuring a fair competitive race to get housing land.

Explore The World Freely

Having been continuously updated and expanded on in the past five years, the three large continents of ArcheAge offer a myriad of areas, cities and dungeons for the player to explore. In ArcheAge: Unchained, players now can travel freely around the epic fantasy world. In the new version mounts, pets and gliders with special buffs can be unlocked through gameplay.

New Graphics, Skill Set and Content

Another welcome addition to both Unchained and free ArcheAge is the graphics overhaul. The Elf race models have been given a face-lift in addition to environments of some areas in-game. They do look pretty good. Both versions are being updated together simultaneously, so no player gets left out of the brand new content, updates and skill sets that come to the game.

In Trove, the Moon Goddess is in desperate need of help from the players in restoring the moon’s silver glow, urging them to embark on challenging quests. Of course, they will be rewarded with treats and treasure along the way!

ArcheAge and ArcheAge: Unchained are inviting all their players to the Halloween event on Mirage Isle that offers myriads of surprises. Here, they can also soar through the sky on the speediest brooms, looking for the next quest gate to pass through – but they need to watch out, as ghastly ghosts can appear out of thin air and cause various debuffs!

Pumpkins are all the rage in Grand Fantasia and Housekeeper Jelly Rabbit needs all the support he can get to protect his crop. Apart from saving the harvest, players can experience a lot of new content for the occasion, from a new guild dungeon to a series of bosses, gear and rewards.

Players of Defiance 2050 get to experience a ghoulish time in Hulker Hell – the Hulkers have returned to paradise with frightening company: the Afflicted, who’s goal it is to infect all Ark Hunters with a deadly disease. Defeating these fiends in a series of task will grant our heroes mod fusions, synergies and many more rewards.

This Halloween, Shayia players need to be on their toes – not only is the world under attack by a Zombie infestation, also Jack the Skeleton needs help with a mischievous quest. If the players don’t feel like adventuring or saving the world from certain doom, they can follow the sweet sound of the ice cream truck that will, of course, spawn evil enemies to defeat, or go and challenge themselves on the Deep Desert PvP map!
