Those who have finished his previous ten Adventure Logs can now take their explorations of the world further with advice from a famed explorer and follow in his footsteps to uncover the mysteries of this country, once known as the Land of Gold. His additional logs add numerous quests for Adventurers to tackle, and they can embark on this journey to receive a wealth of knowledge and great rewards!

The celebrations don’t end there—to further commemorate the one-year anniversary, a special 14-day check-in event begins today, during which Adventurers can grab themselves even more highly sought-after items like Advice of Valks, Shakatu’s Luxury Boxes, and Blessings of Kamasylve. To pile the prizes even higher, a general check-in event will take place from August 22 to September 25. A chance to grab more Advice of Valks, Fine Accessory Boxes, and Tough Whale Tendon Elixirs is not one to be missed, so Adventurers are ensuring that they don’t miss out!

Much like Arduanatt, Diné is a Tier 9 horse that can be awakened from a Tier 8 Courser. Adventurers wanting to awaken Diné should focus their items on Elegance Training. Diné also has three skills including the Earth of Life, a healing skill unique to Diné, which allows her to heal herself and those around her. Another major advantage of Diné is that the white and gold unicorn can charge through the desert at a rapid pace, allowing Adventurers to save time traveling through regions such as Valencia and gain an upper hand during conquest wars.Black Desert Online SEA will also host the second part of events to celebrate reaching 10 million registered users. From November 7 to 21, Adventurers that collect three items, one from each of the three life skills of hunting, gathering and fishing, can obtain a Jolly Gift Box via Simple Alchemy as part of the “Take the Road to Riches!” event. The Jolly Gift Boxes will contain highly-valuable items such as Dandelion Weapon Boxes, Kzarka’s Sealed Weapon Boxes, Nouver’s Sealed Sub-weapon Boxes and much more.

In addition, Adventurers can earn up to 140 million silver just by playing the game from November 7 to 28. After 100 minutes of play time, Adventurers will receive 10 million silver once a day, for a maximum of 140 million silver over the 14 days. More information about all the events can be found here.

The recognition comes just 10 months after the launch of Black Desert Online SEA in Southeast Asia and Thailand, in large part due to its advanced customization system, expansive open world, action combat and some of the best game graphics available.

Upon completing the quests, Adventurers will be able to obtain +15 weapons with higher chances of enhancement than ordinary weapons.

In addition, the game is also giving away rewards to Adventures just for logging in from November 1 to 14. The items up for grabs include cash items such as Artisan’s Memory as well as other items including the Sealed Book of Combat, Advice of Valks and Shakatu’s Luxury Box containing a host of exclusive goods.

Black Desert Online SEA is finally getting its new PvP mode. Arena of Arsha is a special type of combat mode that allows Adventurers to set the rules of various PvP matches. Guild Masters can reserve a specific date with guild funds to host Team Matches or Team Survivals. The Adventurer designated as the operator will be granted the authority to invite participants, form teams, set specific match times and regulations. Engage in thrilling customized battles, or become the show host of one.

In addition, there’s a new Arsha server too. In this server, the item drop rate is increased by 50% and Adventurers do not lose Karma during PvP activities. Furthermore, the Arena of Arsha Rehearsal will begin this weekend. Simply follow the GM’s instructions to take part, and get awesome rewards such as GM’s Lucky Box and Gold Bars just by participating in the rehearsal.

This week’s update will also include exciting new quests such as Black Spirit’s Gift II and Advice of Valks. Adventurers that have completed the Calpheon and Mediah main quests will be able to receive these new quests. Behold the perfection of Dark Knight, Mystic and Striker. The world of Black Desert is just about to become more dynamic, as Pearl Abyss announced today that Dark Knight, Mystic and Striker can now be awakened. Adventurers who reach level 56 with any of these three recently released classes will be able to start their character Awakening quests. Once successfully completed, Adventurers will be able to unlock far more powerful skills and awesome Awakening weapons. Awaken Dark Knight, Mystic and Striker now to unleash their full potential.

Upon Awakening, Dark Knight will be able to wield a set of phantom blades called Vediant, which allows her to take full control over the infinite powers of the dark arts. These unique blades will grant Dark Knight the special ability to drain life from her enemies. Mystic’s Awakening weapon is a powerful pair of gauntlets called Cestus. She can summon a fierce sea dragon that helps her deal more damage to opponents. Once Awakened, Mystic’s male counterpart Striker gains access to his Awakening weapon called Gardbrace. He can summon his alter ego to help him decimate enemies. Take over the battlefield with the completely transformed Dark Knight, Mystic, and Striker.

In commemoration of the Awakening for the three new classes, Pearl Abyss announced that various events will begin after this week’s update. Adventurers that complete the Awakening quests for Dark Knight, Mystic or Striker will receive various valuable items to help enhance their Awakening weapons, such as Cron Stones and Memory Fragments. The excitement doesn’t end here. Adventurers that reach level 60 with any of the three classes will be included in the lucky draw to win 300 Pearls.

Pearl Abyss had Adventurers on the edge of their seats when they announced last week that Dark Knight, Mystic, and Striker were being released all at once on May 17th. With one week remaining until the three classes become playable in the game, Pearl Abyss announced today that Adventurers will be able to customize their characters in advance with Black Desert Online’s famed character customization tool.

To double the excitement, all users who pre-customize their characters will receive many useful items including the 7-day Value Pack. These rewards will be usable in-game once the classes are released next week so make sure to take advantage of the pre-customization event.

This week’s update will also include Whale Hunting. Before heading off to look for the next big catch, Adventurers must prepare a fishing boat, hunting musket, and a butchering knife. Grab your gear, the adventure is about to get even more exciting. Pearl Abyss announced that the world of Black Desert Online just got a little more dangerous. The four new Field Bosses will prove a challenge to even the most seasoned veterans.

Successfully take down any of the four Field Bosses for a chance to acquire some of the best armor the game has to offer. Face off against Red Nose, Dastard Bheg, Giant Mudster, and Dim Tree Spirit in specific locations on the map. They will only spawn at certain times so make sure to catch them when you can. Each of the field bosses can drop a Boss Defense Gear Box which gives special equipment like Dim Tree Spirit’s Armor or Bheg’s Gloves. This is a boss encounter that Adventurers definitely will not want to miss out on.

Pearl Abyss has also announced the arrival of the long-awaited Patrigio Night Vendor. Now Adventurers can spend 50 energy to take a “roll” to see which rare item he will offer. Remember that the Night Vendor operates in the shadows, and will only show up in the dead of night.

Ever since its launch in the SEA region this January, Black Desert Online has been thriving according Pearl Abyss COO James Heo. “Everyone has been so supportive over the months leading up to the CBT and through to the release of the game. We felt their passion and excitement for Black Desert Online even before the launch. It was a wonderful feeling and we’re extremely grateful that we’ve managed to bring even more Adventurers along the way,”.

To keep up the pace of catching up players to the existing content in other region’s versions of the game, a new road map has been released. The first half of 2018 may be coming to a close, but there’s lots more coming to BDO SEA.

What’s Coming Up in the First Half of 2018

New Class

Maewha will be making her way into the game today as the twelfth playable character on the SEA server. She joined the team just one week after the introduction of her male counterpart, Musa. They are both melee type classes that wield longswords as their main weapon to execute lightning quick attacks and powerful combos. She does tons of damage with her seamless skill chain features and exceptional maneuverability to provide an unforgettably dynamic gameplay style.

Awakening Update
New classes are just the beginning of the company’s plan to bring even more new content to Black Desert Online SEA. They have also announced the plan for the long awaited Awakening of the twelve classes. All twelve classes will be reborn stronger than ever. In April, characters that reach level 56 can start their awakening quests. Once complete, they can obtain an Awakening weapon that have a batch of new skills that will completely change how Adventurers play the game. It will really amp everything to the next level. The Awakenings will be divided into two separate updates, starting with the first six characters that were playable in the game. The rest will be available the following week.

New Territory Expansion: Valencia
A large desert territory has been discovered and will be open for exploration in May and will have new dungeons available in June. This is the territory that separates the two warring states, the Kingdom of Valencia and the Republic of Calpheon. It is larger in size than any of the other territories currently open in the game. It is filled with sandstorms, severe temperature changes and new mysteries to solve. However, as dangerous as it is, the new territory offers great rewards, new activities, and a whole slew of new content like treasure hunting, capturing elephants or camels, and establishing new trade routes to strengthen your foothold in the Black Desert.

Although time passed in the blink of an eye, everything fell into place like it was meant to be. Soon Black Desert Online SEA will have been out for 100 days. There will be a 100th day celebration to thank all of the Adventurers for their support so stay tuned for amazing events and so much more.
