TERA Southeast Asia Launch

Release: November 1

After many years since launch, TERA will finally be opening up a new version and server in Southeast Asia, following in the footsteps of Black Desert Online. Therefore, players in the SEA region now can experience the game with lower and more stable ping. This will be a deciding factor for large amount of players deciding if it is worth it to make the switch to the SEA version of the game. TERA, is a free-to-play action fantasy MMORPG developed by Bluehole, well-known game developer from South Korea. It brings the players to the fantasy world with the brilliant 3D graphic. Players explore a vast open world where their combo skills are showing against Big Ass Monsters.

Lord of the Rings Online: Legendary Worlds

Release: November 2018

The Lord of the Rings Online will launch it’s fresh start progression server in November 2018. Legendary Worlds will transport players back to 2007’s Shadows of Angmar vanilla content. It’s a period that many will fondly remember due to the difficulty, lack of modern headache inducing systems and the plethora of group content. Simply put, the LOTRO’s vanilla content is what put it on the map. While the live servers are free, the Legendary Worlds will not follow suit. Players will need a $15 monthly subscription to play on it. Since its announcement last week, there’s a real buzz surrounding LOTRO’s community and among former players to return.

EverQuest II Chaos Descending Expansion

Release: November 13

Chaos Descending is the next expansion for classic MMORPG EverQuest 2 which players can already pre-order. Players who do say will gain immediate Beta access to the expansion content. Chaos Descending will officially launch on Tuesday, November 13th. The new features of the Chaos Descending expansion includes:

• Expanded Lore: Something is throwing the Elemental Planes of Order into chaos! Norrathians return to the planes to restore balance to the planes of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth to uncover a mystery of Celestial proportions.
• New Elemental Planes to Explore: New zones, dungeon themes, signature adventure quests, raids, and more highlight a vast array of new story content for Norrathians to battle through. But will they gain the strengths and abilities necessary to defeat the ceaseless denizens of the Elemental Planes and the puppet master behind them?

AION: Awakened Legacy

Release: Already out

Aion: Awakened Legacy, the game’s biggest update in 2018, has arrived and is now live. All Daevas can log in today and experience a brand new Aion. With the new Aion: Awakened Legacy update players will enjoy a refreshing and simplified experience that improves all aspects of the game. Veteran Daevas will find their level cap increased to 80, and will be introduced to a mysterious new zone and a deadly new dungeon that will test their newfound powers.

DC Universe Online: The Witching Hour (Event Dates: Oct. 1 – 31, 2018)

All hell has broken loose in the streets of Gotham City and inside The Midnight Masquerade Nightclub! Players head to the East End safehouse in Gotham City and speak to the Phantom Stranger (Heroes) or The Tap Room in Burnley and speak to Tala (Villains) for information on the chaos. New Halloween themed feats, collections and base items are also available.

Dungeons and Dragons Online: The Night Revels Festival (Event Dates: Oct. 2 – Nov. 4, 2018)

The Night Revels Festival is back in full swing! This year players enter a redesigned Delera’s Graveyard, and battle evil ghosts, skeletons, wraiths, and more. Holiday-themed variations of beloved in-game quests will be unlocked by collecting candies and acquiring keys. Completing these quests also award resources that can be used toward a large number of spooky armors, items and other magical gear.

EverQuest: Nights of the Dead (Event Dates: Oct. 10 – Nov. 6, 2018)

Nights are growing darker, and there’s an unmistakable spine-tingling chill in the air that can only mean one thing – Nights of the Dead has returned to Norrath! Adventurers can unlock Spooky Sally and Haunted Jack costumes, participate in quests, discover themed helmets and more.

EverQuest 2: Nights of the Dead (Event Dates: Oct. 5 – Nov. 1, 2018) 

Hijinks and haunts are abound in Norrath, which means that Nights of the Dead is back on the Fallen Gate TLE server. This event features familiar favorite quests, new “Grave Memories” collection, and even new costume illusions, house items, and recipe book for crafters!

H1Z1: Hauntfest (Event Dates: Oct. 23 – Nov. 6, 2018)

H1Z1 on PS4 is bringing a new arcade mode, Hauntfest, as well as seasonal battle pass and crate just in time for Halloween. In Hauntfest players pick up candies around the map, giving their characters increased running speed, but limited vision — a virtual sugar rush! The seasonal battle pass rewards all players with “Treat Crates” for completing daily challenges. Lucky players even have the chance to earn the new crate, Dead Man’s Chest, which includes full pirate garb and gear.

Lord of the Rings Online: The Harvestmath Festival (Event Dates: Oct. 17 – Nov. 6, 2018)

Middle-earth celebrates fall and spooky-fun times with the Harvestmath Festival. Players take part in games, pick pumpkins, explore the Haunted Barrow, experience a spooky tale, and more. During this event, players can also explore a different Hay Maze every day!

Planet Side 2: Nanite of the Living Dead (Event Dates: Oct. 9 – 31, 2018)

It’s time for the most haunting time of year – the fifth iteration of Nanite of the Living Dead has returned to Auraxis! Players can collect pumpkin seeds, earn an Ectoblaster and trade for new spooky cosmetic items. Drop pods have even been converted to Pumpkin Pods!

Daybreak Games has released Planes of Prophecy, the fourteenth expansion for the long-running fantasy MMO EverQuest II.

EverQuest II: Planes of Prophecy is a throwback to the classic EverQuest expansion, Planes of Power. In the Planes of Prophecy expansion, players experience the wonders of the celestial realms, where fates are decided, prophecies are fulfilled and realities are remade. Venturing deep into these mystic lands, including the Planes of Magic, Innovation and Disease, players will forge deific alliances and harness primal powers to wage war against Lanys T’Vyl and her Tenets of Hate, who seek to lay waste to Norrath and the pantheon.

From now until Monday May 22nd, EverQuest 2 players can log in to claim a free level 100 boost. Existing players simply need to log in to redeem the boost provided their accounts are in good standing.

Brand new players can also redeem the boost, but must have an All Access membership. All Access is the subscription premium pass. The free boost is a great catch up mechanic for returning players or can be used to check out a new character.

The boost is rather timely too, as it’s in conjunction with the launch of GUI103: The Menagerie. This is a brand new content update that went live this past Monday.

There’s a ton of new content in the new update which should interest new and old players. The Proving Grounds are a new co-op competition zone where two groups of up to six players challenge each other.

Familiar Creatures are perhaps the most anticipated feature. It brings unique pets to the game, each with buffing abilities that will help its owner. And finally, there are new quests which is where the level 100 boost will come in handy.
