The Elder Scrolls Online released its Murkmire DLC earlier in the week, and we jumped in for some fun. There’s some really good things about the new DLC, and there’s some bad too. Here’s our rapid review.

Murkmire’s Zone Story Raises The Stakes

If you’ve played the prologue quests last week, you probably know what to expect this update. Cyrodillic Collections, an Argonian antique collection outfit led by Imperial sisters Famia and Concordia have come to the Blackmarsh to seek an ancient Argonian relic of legend. Famia is your main contact in Murkmire, and the story starts with you being the perfect fit to help her cause. What made the stories enjoyable is the fact that I’m learning so much about Argonians – a race of lizard like humanoids in ESO lore – that I wasn’t previously interested in. Their cultures, way of life and their struggles are all depicted via various side quests littered throughout, including within the main story.

It’s that main story that really engaged me this update. It was lengthy and offered up to 6 Skill Points for the total chapter completion which is nice. The voice acting is also praise-worthy, as Argonians are incredibly poignant and self-rhetorical in their speech manerisms which makes for some hilarious dialogue moments. The more I played through the story, the more I wanted to help the two swamp people that I grew fond off. An ancient relic, the Remnant Of Argon is being hunted by the Blackguards, and you and your new companions race to get it first. There’s plenty of adventure, and surprising emotional decisions to make too. When main story quests leave you debating if you did the write thing, it’s the sign of great writing.

Plenty of Zone Content But Disappointing Group Arena

The new zone Murkmire is a well designed marsh swamp land, and it’s a first for ESO. Following traditional DLC zones of the past, most new locations you visit, like the villages for each of the Argonian tribes, will have a quest giver or some story starter nearby. These are usually short length side quests that offers the player some insight and backstory about the Argonians and that’s been quite fun to playthrough. There’s also two new delves and what sets them a part are the designs and architecture – distinctly different because ESO does make each race’s zone stand out.

Where the DLC falls short is with its group content. The ‘dungeon’ this update isn’t even a dungeon, it’s an Arena where players team up in fours to take on wave after wave of randomized enemies with boss fights in between. While it offers some diversity this time around with things to click for buffs and debuffs, it’s the same formula we’ve seen in the past, like Maelstrom Arena. To be frank, it’s lazy design, and throwing some story in there doesn’t make it better. It will offer dungeon-style loot though, so run them if you want to.

New Item Sets To Shake Things Up

Murkmire also gives players more character growth beginning with the increase of the Champion Point ceiling cap. Players can now grow well over into 800 and spend those extra points for more beneficial stats to enhance their builds. To help with this, Murkmire introduces 12 new gear sets, combining various different builds for players to choose from. The DLC is being called “Nerfmire” however, due to some classes getting the potency of their abilities reduced, but overall these are solid new additions to the game.

Zone Aesthetics And Design

One of the ways the DLC differs from others is by utilizing the Argonian race to cook up an exotic experience for players, in similar way to how each of the past DLCs do. Murkmire sounds and look different and that’s not a bad thing. For starters, the ambient music is more tribal which befits the native Argonian tribes, and it’s a pleasant change of tone from the previous content zone of Summerset. Another cool thing to look out for are the killer flora – Murkmire is full of dangerous plants that do nasty things when you get close. It’s a fun feature that adds more character to the zone but won’t kill you if you’re geared.

PvP Gets Some Interesting Updates Too

With Update 20, Cyrodiil is getting even more deadly with the introduction of destructible bridges and Milegates. Now, you’re able to bring down any of the bridges and Milegates in Cyrodiil using ballistae, catapults, and trebuchets. Don’t worry, you can repair them if you wish, but we’ve also introduced a series of new goat paths around these chokepoints, giving you another way to enter enemy territory. This update also changes the shape of Cyrodiil by introducing a series of new Outposts AND offers brand new rewards, too.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be adding some awesome new changes and features to its ESO Plus membership – the game’s optional subscription. Currently, members are allocated 1500 Crowns per month and access to the Craft bag, but more value is coming your way come November 13th.

Monthly Crowns Allowance Is Increasing

November 13th onward, as an ESO Plus member, you will receive an additional 150 Crowns as part of your monthly stipend, bringing your total to 1650 per month. Note that if you are partly though a 3- or 6-month membership, you will be credited your bonus crowns by the end of November.

While a 150 Crown increase seems minor, it all adds up eventually. It’s still an increase in value which is nice to see ESO do – more value and reasons to subscribe to the game’s optional sub is a clever way to to do so.

Exclusive Free Items Only For Members

With this update, ESO Plus members will be able to acquire free collectibles from the in-game Crown Store. The free items will only be available to ESO Plus members and will be indicated in gold text labeled “Free” next to the Chalice icon. Free items will be added to the Crown Store only on rare occasions and for a very limited time.

The first free ESO Plus member-exclusive item includes a unique collectible: the Priestess of Mara costume. Note that the new costume will not be available immediately, but will arrive in the Crown Store later in the year.

Member-Only Crown Store Sales and Discounts

With ESO Plus membership-exclusive deals, you’ll be able to acquire select Crown Store items at a special, discounted price. The discounted items will be in the Crown Store with gold text and a Chalice icon. The items available at a membership-exclusive discount can change often (and some might only be available as part of a limited-time offer), so be sure to check the Crown Store on occasion to see what is available.

Exclusive Crown Items Found No Where Else

In additional to unique deals, ESO Plus members will also gain access to exclusive Crown Store items. These exclusive items may be available for sale for Crowns or even free (as mentioned above). These items can include collectibles such as costumes, pets, mounts, and more, and will be identified by the gold text and Chalice icon. Like the exclusive deals, these items can change often, so be sure to keep an eye out.

New UI For ESO Plus Section In The Crown Store

To help you keep track of what deals are currently available when new benefits arrive, you’ll be able to visit a new ESO Plus tab within the Crown Store UI. From there, you will be able to check your current benefits and review what Crown Store items are available on sale or exclusively to members. Note that it will not be possible to Gift an item acquired for free, purchased at a discount, or purchased exclusively due to your ESO Plus membership. However, you can still purchase items as Gifts at full price.

The Elder Scrolls Online by Zenimax Online Studios is one of the most played MMORPGs today. It’s an Elder Scrolls themed MMO, which simply means that it borrows many aspects from the popular single player franchise. Be it the UI design, quests or combat system, you’ll definitely feel like you’re part of the Elder Scrolls world. If you’re planning to check out this game, this Elder Scrolls Online review 2018 is for you.

What You Need To Know

The game is buy to play. Purchase for it once on the website or on Steam, and you’re good to go forever. Additional DLCs can be bought as standalone or you can get the monthly optional subscription to get them free. There are expansions called Chapters like Morrowind and Summerset. These require a purchase regardless if you’re a subscriber or not.

The game world is huge at this point, with many questing zones and activities to do. PvE offers open world questing and stories that are fully voice acted with dialogues. This is for every single quest in the game which is impressive and of high quality. The combat system uses an action style, and is easy to grasp for the PC. You can also enjoy it on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Play How You Want

One of the best things about ESO is that it’s adaptable. What does that mean? It means the game reacts to how you play it. If you want to play it solo, go ahead! If you’d rather prefer running around with friends or with your guild, that’s fine too! ESO does not punish you for being casual or hardcore, and on top of that, rewards you either way. For the casual player with only a certain amount of time to play each week, the pace of the game is set by you. You can explore solo dungeons in the form of Delves, and whenever you feel like doing a dungeon or two, simply use the group finder and you’re set. For hardcore players, Veteran dungeons, Trials (raids) and the PvP Battlegrounds and Alliance War map will offer you good fun and long term progression.

The new content additions over the past couple of years greatly enhances what you can do on your own in the world. The Thieves Guild for example, allows you to be a master thief and pick-pocket NPCs in town, break into homes to steal loot and more. You’re then able to fence it off – sell it for Gold – and create another way for you to make money in-game. It’s also a form of horizontal progression. The more you break into homes with the lock-pick system and the more you sell your stolen goods, the higher your Legerdemain skill tree progresses. This allows you to put more Skill Points in it to get better at sneaking, for example. That form of character progression is unique to the Elder Scrolls Online, and one that no other MMORPG out there has managed to pamper me with.

Frequent Content Releases

Most MMOs enters into a lull period after a major content release, and that’s usually normal. We see it more often in Free to Play games where the content takes longer to arrive and in smaller bite-sizes, not to mention that quality can be a hit or miss. As ESO is between the two models of F2P and subscription only, you can expect at least multiple updates and DLCs per year, and of which, the quality is usually on-point. Players have already gotten a taste of the first few DLC updates for 2018, from Dragon Bones to Summerset, and now Wolfhunter to Murkmire. The game is just growing at a steady pace in terms of content.

New content alone isn’t all the game will be offering. There’s more quality of life improvements as well. Remember we talked about player housing that was introduced last year? Well it got better. Housing storage is available, and adds 360 slots in total for players to store items in their homes. This adds a tangible and much needed feature that will help players both new and old very much. That’s because prior to the announcement, inventory spaces on the player and from the bank always involved heavy micro-management due to limited upgrade slots.  A new outfit system is also introduced which further addressees the feedback of the playerbase. Battlegrounds have been made free for all and no longer requires the Morrowind Chapter. All in all, these changes benefit you.

What Are The Cons?

MMORPGs are always improving with time. New content is usually the priority alongside squashing old bugs. At this point, the biggest cons that we would warn you about is latency and lag, which is really dependent on where you’re playing from in the world. On some days, you’ll get decent ping ratings in populated zones and in PvP, while on other days, it can be unplayable. Again, not many players may experience this, but it is a thorn in the game’s side, and they can definitely improve their servers.

Another area out-of game that should be looked at is customer support. Zenimax has done wonders to turn their reputation for ESO around from their terrible launch to the game it was supposed to be today. But that all counts for little if your customer support is rubbish. We’ve experienced first hand a few players getting locked out of their account, or having trouble linking their accounts to Steam, and Zenimax customer support offers no help whatsoever. And finally, if you’re 100% against RNG lootboxes, be aware that they do exist in the game’s cash shop. They contain mostly cosmetic “fluff”.

Value For Money

Most importantly for us, is the value for money proposition. What makes the Elder Scrolls Online so attractive is its Buy to Play model. If you’re planning to play the game on the PC, all you need is a one-time purchase and you’re good to go. You’ll be able to play the vanilla game for free without any restrictions. When it comes to purchasing the additional DLCs, you can either opt for the monthly subscription which unlocks it all, or buy them à la carte using Crown Points. Options is always a good thing.

But what is the value proposition you speak of? Firstly, the game goes on sale multiple times a year, especially on Steam. You can get it at ridiculous prices, sometimes even 50% off during Thanksgiving and other seasonal sales. For that sort of price, the amount of content you get is crazy. Elsewhere, playing the game now is so much better than playing it at release. As we’ve mentioned, the improvements over the years makes ESO one of the best MMOs out there today for all play styles. The One Tamriel Update for instance, allowed players the freedom to cross over zones and do whatever they wanted with level and zone scaling. Who’s to say there won’t be other game-changing updates in the near future? For what I’ve invested in it, the amount of time I am sinking into the game is totally worth the purchase, because I am having fun.

Bethesda Announces Two New DLCs For The Elder Scrolls Online At E3 #BE3

Bethesda announced that Elder Scrolls Online will be getting more content at tonight’s E3 show. The MMORPG will be getting two new DLCs later this year. The first is Wolfhunter, a dungeon themed DLC packed with Werewolf lore. The second is a story centric update like Clockwork City. Murkmire will be the next new zone and story content expansion, taking place in the Black Marsh. More details below.

BEWARE HIRCINE’S CURSE

ESO‘s next DLC game pack, Wolfhunter, will bring two new and challenging group dungeons: Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. As its name suggests, these two dungeons are themed around Tamriel’s werewolves, and you’ll be able to dive into all-new stories surrounding those afflicted with the lycanthropic curse and even, perhaps, come face-to-face with the Daedric Prince Hircine himself.

VENTURE INTO ARGONIA

Available later this year, Murkmire is ESO‘s next zone and story content expansion, and it will take you into the home of the Argonians. There, you will win the trust of reclusive tribes, delve deep into crumbling xanmeer ruins, and hack your way through the savage wilds of Black Marsh to discover one of the Hist’s greatest secrets.

Similar to previous DLC zones, Murkmire will feature a brand new area to explore, an exciting story line, new World Bosses and Delves, and a brand-new group arena (with its own leaderboard).

Both DLCs will be available in the second half of 2018, so keep an eye out for more information on both Wolfhunter and Murkmire, including release details and previews, in the not-too-distant future.

Elder Scrolls Online Summerset Chapter Has Finally Launched On Consoles

Your new Elder Scrolls adventure begins now on the incredible isle of Summerset – the ancestral home of the High Elves – seen for the first time in a game since 1994’s The Elder Scrolls: Arena.

Today, ZeniMax Online Studios officially launched The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, the next great Chapter in the online RPG. Available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac, Summerset offers up a massive new zone, a new and epic Elder Scrolls story, the Psijic Order skill line, Jewelry Crafting, and much more.

EXPLORE, EXPLORE, AND THEN EXPLORE SOME MORE
By the decree of Queen Ayrenn, Summerset Isle is now open to foreigners, allowing newcomers to adventure through its beautiful forests and lagoons, and hidden, dark fissures. Players will also travel to mystical Artaeum, a magical isle that transcends space and time. The new zone is the largest addition to ESO yet, surpassing even last year’s massive Morrowind update. Packed with around 30 hours of main story and tons of side quests, Summerset is a mecca for exploration and surprising new tales.

PLAY SOLO, PLAY TOGETHER, PLAY YOUR WAY
ESO: Summerset, of course, can be played solo, like any other traditional Elder Scrolls game. However, with a world full of powerful bosses, dank and mysterious Delves, and a challenging new 12-player trial, players and their friends will find hours of online adventure by banding together to conquer the world’s toughest obstacles. Plus, with ESO’s level-balancing system, new players can group with veterans at any time, on any quest, and all players will find a challenging and fun experience.

LET’S GET PSIJICAL
The Psijic Order has been a mysterious and mystical force in Tamriel throughout time, and in ESO: Summerset, they have returned after disappearing for nearly 300 years.  Players will – for the first time in any Elder Scrolls game – seek out these enigmatic mages and join their order. By mastering the ways of the Psijic Order, players will unlock a powerful new skill line that includes the ability to reverse time itself.

ESO: Summerset is now available globally on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

ESO 2018: Elder Scrolls Online Summerset DLC Review and First Impressions (Day 2)

If there was any doubt that Summerset’s story and as DLC would be underwhelming, drop it. With more hours under my belt, I can safely say that this is probably ESO’s best Chapter DLC since Morrowind. Is it better than Morrowind? I’ll have to say yes. Yes indeed.

In the last post, we already covered some of the basics things that Summerset introduced by way of content. Abyssal Geysers are great organic landscape content that breathes life into the island, and the general side quests are of high quality. We also shared thoughts about the Psijic Order and its new skill line, which is awesome despite the tedious grind to rank it all the way up to 10.

Today, let’s talk about the crème de la crème of the DLC – the main story. Both new players and veterans alike begin their main quest in Summerset with Razum Dar, everyone’s favorite Khajeet. The talking cat is now the Eye of the Queen, and does all the spying and intel gathering for the leader of the Aldmeri Dominion. The story here revolves around the High Elves opening up the island the newcomers, as you might have already known. However, the Triad of Daedric Princes (Mephala, Nocturnal and Claudicus Vile) have other plans. Without spoiling too much, the 25 hours or so following the main story turned out to be an incredible adventure. It introduces beloved old NPC characters, and makes them play crucial roles in the story that will tug at your heartstrings. The great thing about this adventure is how fast it picks up the pace with story beats, ensuring that from quest to quest, you’re always on the edge of your seat. Morrowind’s story a year ago was rather a slow build up.

Delves and Public Dungeons

Over the weekend I did manage to jump into other forms of content found on the Summerset landscape. The six new delves are expertly designed – some of them offering a sense of adventure that is the epitome of what an Elder Scrolls experience should be. A select few were rather short and straightforward – enter, kill the boss for the achievement and get the skyshard – but the rest offered a more mazy, catacomb exploration type adventure.

Public dungeons on the other hand, were a great experience. There are two in this DLC Chapter, on opposite ends of the island. They come with independent dungeon story lines, multiple bosses within and of course, skill points upon completion and skyshards to find. Getting a group for these if you are a solo player didn’t prove to be an issue, as anyone with a decent amount of Champion Points can actually solo it just fine. That does bring up a different discussion however, that the difficulty of the landscape content is rather easy. Take nothing away from the design of these dungeons and delves however, they are a blast to play on your first time through, especially if you are a new player.

ESO 2018: Elder Scrolls Online Summerset DLC Review and First Impressions (Day 1)

The beautiful thing about The Elder Scrolls Online is that it’s all connected and it all makes sense. Anyone that’s been playing regularly over the last year will perhaps know that stories are a great sense of joy in ESO. That’s not changed I’m glad to say, and Summerset picks up right where the previous two story DLCs left off – with both Lord Vivec and Sotha Sil telling you that Summerset is in danger thanks to the Daedra.

And that’s how things start in Summerset. Your ticket unto the island is a boat ride from your faction’s major city, and off you go to meet Razum-Dar, the Eye of the Queen. I’ve spent roughly 12 hours in the early access so far since 21st of May, and here are my quick impressions.

As far as the island goes, it’s gorgeous. The High Elves sure know how to impress. The play map isn’t as large as Morrowind’s Vvardenfell, but there’s loads of ground to cover and content to complete. The major cities all look incredible, and there’s a sense of wonderment whenever you approach one.

No story spoilers in this post of course, so let’s talk about the things that we know were going to be big in the DLC. First up, Abyssal Geysers. These are organic landscape content that can be found throughout the island, in six locations. And as I suspected, they function just like Dolmens in the base game regions. A spew of purple lights go up in the sky, indicating that things are about to get ugly. It’s also a signal for all players in the vicinity to converge on the spot to take down waves of monsters, and finally down a unique, random boss before looting the good stuff. The formula has existed before as I’ve mentioned, but this time around, the locations are different – in the sense that they usually take place by the beach. At least we have organic content back now, which was missing from Morrowind and even Clockwork City.

Elsewhere, Jewel crafting is now available and the first thing I noticed on the island was that there’s new resource nodes like Pewter to mine. Heading to a crafting station in town, you’ll see a brand new jewel crafting station and that’s your queue to start leveling it up. You may now deconstruct all the rings and necklaces you’ve been hoarding for levels, which in return allows you to spend points into crafting passives for the jewelry line, to make better ones for yourselves. This is a great addition and definitely gives players something to work toward in this DLC.

From a questing perspective, the early ones I’ve done didn’t disappoint. The writing is deeper and engaging, and the voice acting is on-point, and has been since Morrowind a year ago. There’s family feuds to solve, murder mysteries to investigate and even a stint as an artist, which I found to be one of my favorite quest chains ever.

There’s still much more to do and explore, like getting the new Psijic Order skill line, and tackling the host of new Delves and dungeons, so stay tuned to the next part of this first impressions!

Elder Scrolls Online Highlights Brand New Psijic Order Coming With Summerset In New Trailer

In Summerset, the next Chapter in ZeniMax Online Studios’ award-winning open-world saga, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), players will be able to discover the secretive mages of the Psijic Order, and, for the first time ever, join their ranks to learn the ways of these magical masters. So, what is the Psijic Order, a group so reclusive no Elder Scrolls game has truly revealed their mysteries before? Today we’ve released a sneak peek video to help bring Elder Scrolls fans up to speed on one of Tamriel’s most secretive organizations.

In ESO: Summerset, players will travel to the isle of Artaeum to find and join the enigmatic Psijic Order for the first time in the Elder Scrolls series. This secret society of mages has returned after a 350-year long absence, bringing with them a unique quest line and story that will have players travelling all over Summerset to close destructive and mysterious time breaches. Once accepted into their ranks, adventurers will have access to an all-new Psijic Order Skill Line – for new or existing characters – that includes unique abilities: slow and freezes enemies in place, meditate to restore your health and resources, or even rewind time itself! With these new powerful abilities, players can explore the isle of Artaeum, visit the Ceporah Tower and Ritemaster Lachesis, and unravel the secrets of both the ancient organization and the history of the Mages Guild.

Elder Scrolls Online 2018: 6 Massive Additions Coming To ESO 2018 With The Summerset DLC

The Elder Scrolls Online will be launching it’s biggest DLC update ever in May, and here are some of the massive new changes and addition that will be coming with the update for ESO 2018.

#1 New Adventure Zone

In ancient myth, when the first Elves came to Tamriel, they colonized the Summerset archipelago, including the islands of Artaeum, Auridon, and the largest of the three, Summerset. Summerset is the home of the race now known as the High Elves, but in theory all of the Elven races of Tamriel, including the Wood Elves and Dark Elves, originated from this island. When you arrive in Summerset, you’ll begin to discover exactly how the proud history of the High Elves is reflected in almost every aspect of their lives.

The island inhabitants’ reaction to the newcomers is something you’ll experience firsthand upon your arrival, and it will be clear from the very start that the resident High Elves’ opinions of the decree are quite mixed. However the locals might feel about you and your fellow outsiders, change is coming, and you’ll play a big part in that transformation as you discover what is truly going on inside the home of the High Elves.

#2 Jewelry Crafting & Performance Improvements

With The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, you can craft and improve your own rings and necklaces.Creating your own custom necklaces and rings is a very similar process to the other Crafting Skill Lines, and it should feel familiar to you if you enjoy crafting in The Elder Scrolls Online. However, in some respects, Jewelry Crafting is more complex with regards how you acquire materials and research Traits, meaning that you’ll need to put more effort into developing your craft than usual. This means that the traditional methods of acquiring legendary (gold) rings and necklaces will remain very important and become even more useful moving forward.

As for performance improvements, with Update 18, there are a host of performance improvements on both the server and client side. These improvements include refactoring the implementation of a number of ability passive effects so they are less taxing on the server. Update 18 also increases the amount of CPU cores used by the game client, meaning high-end PCs will enjoy a boost to framerate, and consoles will enjoy improvements to character load times and fewer framerate spikes overall.

# 3 Combat Changes

ESO is also making some significant changes to combat, items, and Abilities with Update 18. For starters, the game has changed how two-handed weapons (such as Restoration Staves, Destruction Staves, Two-handed Axes, etc.) work so that they count for two item set bonuses. This change dramatically improves the viability of two-handed weapons, and it should inspire players to express their creativity and find new ways to play.

Secondly, they’ve made broad updates to certain Abilities with the aim of improving the viability of tank and healer roles for all classes. For example, the Dragonknight’s “Ash Cloud” ability now heals you and your allies while also snaring enemies, and the Sorcerer’s “Bound Armor” ability now has an active component that improves Block Effectiveness. ESO has also updated many different Class Abilities, so if you’ve wanted to branch out and try different roles with one of your characters, take a look and give it a go.

ESO has also updated basic attacks to reinforce the idea that Light Attacks are for dealing damage and Heavy Attacks are for restoring resources. In addition to this, they also changed Light and Heavy Attacks so that they have stronger ties to your character’s Magicka and Stamina pools. This means that if you use a lot of basic attacks in your rotation, you should see a bump in your overall damage output.

#4 Daily Login Gifts and Store Gifting

With Update 18 and Daily Rewards, you are rewarded simply by entering the game! When you log into ESO, you’ll be able to claim a unique reward that can include different currencies (such as gold or Alliance Points) and consumables, and on specific milestones you can earn special rewards such as collectibles or Crown Crates from the very latest season. The first month even includes a new Psijic Mascot Guar Calf pet.

At the start of each month, the daily rewards will reset, with the amount of rewards you can claim varying month-to-month. If you can’t log in and happen to miss a day, don’t worry, the reward days are cumulative, meaning you won’t lose progress and you can continue where you left off within the month. However, all progress does reset at the end of the month, and if you don’t have enough days left to claim all of that month’s rewards, you might miss out on some.

Update 18 also introduces the all-new Crown Store Gifting system. With this new system, you’re able to purchase and send most Crown Store items to your friends and guildmates.

#5 New Summerset Organizations

  • Psijic Order: Masters of magic and mysticism, the Psijic Order’s aversion to sharing their knowledge reportedly led to the self-imposed exile of Vanus Galerion and the eventual founding of the Mages Guild. Whatever their intentions and however secretive, the Psijic Order has had an undeniable impact on Tamriel, and as you begin your adventures in this new land, you’ll discover first-hand what their return means for the people of Summerset and beyond.
  • The Sapiarchs: Sages and academics, the Sapiarchs are the keepers of knowledge in Summerset and custodians of the Crystal Tower. Based in the city of Lillandril, the College of Sapiarchs is currently led by the sage known as Larnatille, and the group forms an essential part of the administration of High Elf society
  • The House of Reveries: A performing troupe based in Rellenthil, the House of Reveries entertains and delights their audiences with live performances in the heart of Summerset. Surprisingly secretive and mysterious, members of the House of Reveries cover their faces while performing with colorful and exotic masks

#6 Overhaul To ESO’s PvP

If you love the fast-paced action of the Battlegrounds, Update 18 will gives you even more reasons to take part in the 4v4v4 arena game mode. For starters, Zenimax is moving Battlegrounds to the ESO base game, meaning everybody who owns The Elder Scrolls Online will now be able to play this PvP game mode.

In addition to opening it up to all, when you queue for a random Battleground match and place first or second, you will receive a Battlemaster Rivyn’s Reward Box. These new reward boxes will always contain Soul Gems, a Transmutation geode, a PvP area style item, and a Battlegrounds set weapon. However, they also have a rare chance to include bind-on-pickup Outfit Style Pages for the brand-new Fang Lair Victor and Horned Dragon styles, too. These new styles can only be obtained from the Battlegrounds.
