Neverwinter: Dragonbone Is Live: Here’s What You Need To Know About Module 22

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios has announced that Neverwinter’s 22nd module, Dragonbone Vale, is now available on PC (Arc Games, Epic Games Store and Steam), and will launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on February 8. The latest module for the free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons® MMORPG marks the return of the game’s main antagonist, Valindra Shadowmantle, as she’s joined forces with the Cult of the Dragon in the Sword Mountains to bring undeath to dragons across Faerûn. In addition to familiar foes coming back to Neverwinter, the module introduces plenty of new content for adventurers, including a new adventure zone that brings brand-new grappling hook traversal mechanics and a new faction reputation system to earn rewards, a new 10-player trial featuring Valindra, new heroic encounters, and more.

Adventurers can expect even more content to enjoy in Neverwinter, as an additional content update bringing a new Epic Adventure, Scaleblight Mythal, will soon be available for players to experience the ending of the Dragonbone Vale story, and it will offer a new region in the Sword Mountains to explore. Adventurers will have access to this content on PC beginning February 8 and on consoles starting March 8.

In Dragonbone Vale, the evil lich Valindra Shadowmantle has returned to threaten the Sword Coast alongside the Cult of the Dragon, who have come to possess an ancient artifact with the potential to amplify their foul rituals of undeath. Under the leadership of famed wizard Elminster Aumar, the brave Heroes of Neverwinter will need to work with the allied factions of Protector’s Enclave, to reclaim the Dragonbone Vale and put a stop to the Cult’s plans.

Dragonbone Vale introduces plenty of playable content and exciting updates for PC players to explore:

Dragonbone Vale Adventure Zone & Campaign – In this new adventure zone, Heroes of Neverwinter set out from the encampment of the four allied factions and work their way through four distinct regions of the Sword Mountains: Whetstone Thicket, Quellwater Tarn, Wyrmbone Marrows, and Scaleblight Summit. The adventure zone includes the following unique features:
- Grappling Hook Mechanics – For the first time ever in Neverwinter you can grapple around specific, designated spots of the Dragonbone Vale adventure zone with a grappling hook, allowing vertical exploration and new ways to travel the zone. These mechanics won’t be available in other zones outside of Dragonbone Vale at this time.
- Faction Reputation System: By completing faction-specific quests, such as heroic encounters, defending supply lines, gathering dragonsight treasures and more, players can build reputation with each of the four factions,which they can use to unlock various rewards and features, including faction cosmetics, companion gear, and more.
The Crown of Keldegonn Trial – A new 10-player trial where heroes confront Valindra and the dracolich Palhavorithyn atop the dwarven ruins of Keldegonn. Players can begin to unlock the trial on January 18.
Scaleblight Mythal (Epic Adventure) – The story’s culmination in Sword Mountain’s Scaleblight Summit region. Members of the Shield of the North Alliance assault the location of the great ritual and fight to stop Valindra and the Cult of the Dragon from invoking Rite of the Dracolich to bring undeath to all dragons. Adventurers will have access to this content on PC beginning February 8 and on consoles starting March 8.
Enchantment and Refinement Overhaul – This update brings quality of life improvements to the refinement system and all-new enchantments.

Fiesta Online Launches Next Chapter of Realm of the Gods Expansion

Gamigo has announced that Amatheon’s Corruption, yet another highlight for the epic Realms of the Gods expansion for Fiesta Online, was released today. The company took Fiesta Online – one of the longest-running MMORPGs – to the next level at the end of July 2021 with the release of Realms of the Gods, the largest expansion to date. This update offered, among countless other new content, a significant extension of the game world with new realms, many new quests and enemies, and a raised level cap.

In Realm of the Gods, players had to witness Pagel teaming up with a new ally amid corruption spreading through the lands. Now, Pagel has corrupted the champion Crixus Amatheon as well. Through Amatheon’s power, the existing corruptions grow in strength and variance, further threatening the inhabitants of the realms. The varied new questline has players chasing Crixus as they discover how he was corrupted. Many different challenges await them before they can finally confront the corrupted champion in his temple.

Amatheon will be the most sophisticated and challenging world boss in the history of Fiesta Online. This encounter will be complemented by a dynamic environment, the likes of which have never been seen before in the game.

Rogue Company: Everything You Need To Know About Season 4 Sinister Shadows

Rogue Company has released the ‘Sinister Shadows’ update, launching Season 4 and delivering a generous batch of new content. The update just went live on all platforms simultaneously.

New Map

The new ‘Wanted’ Map takes players on a mission to Mexico. Check it out in this Rogue Company – Map Reveal: Wanted. The Yucatán peninsula is seeing intense gunfights as Rogue Company takes on a new contract. Long ago, these colourful streets also saw Chaac’s origin story unfold.

By popular demand, a Limited-Time Mode allows players to jump into some Rogue Company action on the new Wanted Map exclusively – and it’s available right now.

New Battle Pass

Four top-quality Rogue Outfits depict sinister murderers each in their own style and full of flair. New Ranked Season

The update marks the beginning of the fourth Ranked season of Rogue Company. Ratings resets give a clean state to everyone. For the more recent recruits, now is the perfect time to taste some Rogue Company action in its most competitive setting. Veteran players start fresh, and they get to reap some hard-earned rewards for the end of Season 3.

Splitgate Has Just Launch A Massive Quality of Life Update, So Here’s What’s In It

Splitgate developer and publisher 1047 Games pushed a significant update live today for the free online shooter that sports several quality of life enhancements and fixes for players.

The biggest change with this update addresses the game’s mantling system. Players are now able to climb ledges with far more freedom, allowing more strategic verticality in combat. Additionally, Nvidia Reflex has been implemented into the game with this update – PC players using Nvidia GPUs will shave precious milliseconds off reaction times, potentially skirting death when it matters most. Nvidia Reflex is not available on consoles.

Fans will also be happy to hear that much needed voice chat improvements have been implemented as voice chat should no longer drop out across platforms during a match.

New featured playlists have been added that will rotate each weekend with different modes, allowing fans a greater chance to test out a variety of modes and hone their skills across various play styles and strategies. Another key update is that the geometry bug causing crashing on Karman Station’s map and keeping it out of rotation has now also been addressed and the fix has been added to the game. MMO FPS Enlisted Gets New Mode, Campaign and Weapons with Update 0.2.0

Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software announce that the military online action Enlisted has received the major 0.2.0 Content Update that opens the second phase of the game life cycle. The “Battle of Tunisia” campaign is now available to all players, marking the release of all four campaigns originally revealed. “Battle for Moscow”, “Battle for Berlin” and “Invasion of Normandy” also see new missions and other content like weapons, soldiers and vehicles. The team is already working on the new campaigns, and the specific battles chosen for them will be announced later. The update also brings new gameplay mechanics, including a new “Destruction” game mode, all of them developed with the help of user feedback.

The “Destruction” mode goal is to get to the enemy’s key objects, set up the explosive device and repel counter-attacks until the target is blown up. Defenders can prevent destruction by killing the attackers and they also have time after the start of the timer to disarm mines in the area. Each soldier on the attacking side has explosives in this mode. The new mechanics include trench digging right in the middle of battle, smoke artillery strikes, moving unlocked weapons between campaigns and issuing individual orders to each soldier in a squad. Motorcycles and boats can be used to move through the battlefield faster.

The battle in the “Omer” mission in Normandy takes place on a map inspired by the city of Saint-Omer in Northern France. While players have already experienced a beach landing and rural areas fights, now they’ll see what city combat looks like with snipers on the roofs and anti-tank squads hiding behind windows. The large canal in the city centre allows faster travel via motor boats. The “Quarry” mission in the Moscow outskirts is another unique battlefield. Bullets and cannon shells bounce off the static bulldozers, cranes and other heavy equipment, while numerous pits and mounds make great cover. Finally, a new “Fortress” mission in Tunisia is a huge military base encircled by walls.

The update brings new progression levels to all Enlisted campaigns. For example, players now have a way to unlock the PIAT grenade launcher, Bren Mk I machine gun, Beretta M38/42 submachine gun, R 75 motorcycle, Panther A medium tank, MiG-3-15 fighter and dozens of other weapons and vehicles. It’s also worth mentioning that all closed beta test content from “Battle of Tunisia” i.e. Carcano M1891 rifles and AB 41 armoured cars are also now available to everyone.

Blockhain MMORPG Nine Chronicles Will Launch On Steam Later This Year

Developer Planetarium is delighted to announce today that its blockchain-based MMO Nine Chronicles will be launching on Steam later this year. Additionally, Planetarium has made the game completely open source and is encouraging developers to get creative with their tools.

Nine Chronicles is a free-to-play RPG set in a vast fantasy world – ruled over by its players, and supported by an economy where supply and demand are the greatest currency. The game is powered by groundbreaking technology that gives players the freedom to play how they want: exploring, crafting, mining or governing in a uniquely moddable, open-source adventure.

Conquer dangerous dungeons to gather rare resources for trade; specialize in crafting the finest equipment; or pass legislation with the support of other players to inhabit this realm as you see fit.

In 2020, during development of Nine Chronicles, Planetarium partnered with Ubisoft and Hashed to form a partnership focused on developing blockchain-based games where there is no central server, which allows players have full control of the world.

Now completely open-source, players and developers alike can use any part of the game, from the beautiful bespoke 2D assets to in-game logic and code, for whatever they like. Be it an extension of Nine Chronicles or something completely new and innovative, Planetarium is encouraging users to delve into the game’s inner workings and get creative.

To support this goal, Planetarium is offering grants to developers who will use their open source toolkit to build content and helpful tools for the community.

MapleStory Celebrates 15th Anniversary With Pixel Party Event

MapleStory’s 15th Anniversary: Pixel Party is on! To celebrate its 15th anniversary, MapleStory is ramping up festivities with major celebratory events, special items and a retro 16-bit theme starting on April 22, 2020. This includes an Anniversary Bonus Giveaway event from April 23, 2020 through May 13, 2020 with daily EXP and Drop coupons for Maplers level 33 and higher to enjoy during their stay at home time.

First up in the game’s crystal anniversary celebration is the Honorary Pixel Hero Event held through June 9. Born from beautiful Maple World memories, the newly established Pixel Kingdom is home to Princess Aurora. However, when dark forces steal her away, players must become Honorary Pixel Heroes to rescue the Princess and save the kingdom by collecting Pixel Power to increase their rank and unlock four legendary equipment items.

Additionally, the Pixel Coin Shop will be open for Maplers to redeem Pixel Coins earned through their Hero Training for Pixel items and more. Through May 19, players can also create one Mega Burning Project character per world to earn a total of 3 level-ups with every 1 from level 10 through 150. Earn rewards such as “Keep On Burning” title, Lv. 30 Equipment Box, Legendary Cryptic Chest, and Mysterious Cryptic Chest.

The Familiar system is also getting a revamp during the 15th anniversary festivities. The revamped system will improve the accessibility, user interface, and overall usability, so Maplers can enjoy a more seamless gameplay experience.

Last, but not least, MapleStory will be hosting a welcome event especially catered to MapleStory 2 players. Through May 26, MapleStory 2 players are invited to participate in special quests and relays to earn rewards such as the new “Tria Traveler” title, a 90-day Ducky Mount Coupon, Maple Welcome Damage Skin, and more.
