Big Brother: The Game Is The First Ever MMO Online Reality TV Show

Big Brother: The Game is available to download from today on the App Store, Google Play and for PC, through the game website.

Players can become virtual housemates, experiencing life as a Big Brother contestant. They interact with other real-life housemates and must make strategic choices in order to remain in the house and ultimately become victorious. The skill of the game is social, psychological and interpersonal.

Just like in the TV show, the winner of the game will walk away with a real cash prize. The prize is a guaranteed $10,000 with the prize fund incrementing every time a new contestant joins, up to a maximum prize of $1,000,000.

The game was first announced by Big Brother owners, Banijay earlier this year and has been greeted with excitement by Big Brother fans on social media. A trial season was run in Ireland with a prize fund of €5,000 going to the season winner, Aoife Cheung.

Big Brother: The Game has 2 modes – Housemate and Spectator. The game is free to download and watching live feeds, chatting with other spectators and participating in public votes is free.

Spectators can search for and watch friends, family or celebrities play, including a special house starting on launch day, where 4 stars from the Big Brother US TV series are playing against 4 stars from the Big Brother Canada TV series.

To become a Housemate and enter the competition for the grand prize, the player must use a token to enter the house which is an in-app purchase.

The player must survive the daily eviction vote in order to stay in their house. The final player remaining in a house progresses to the next level house. There are 7 different house levels that must be completed in order to claim the grand prize.

Rock Band Korn Joins Forces With World of Tanks Blitz For Halloween Event

Wargaming today announced that the iconic band, Korn, and free-to-play video game titan, World of Tanks Blitz, launched a special Halloween collaboration, revealing the music video for ‘Finally Free’, a track featured on Korn’s latest studio album, The Nothing. The exclusive video sets the stage for World of Tanks Blitz’s brand-new Halloween mode: Burning Games.

Fans of the band and World of Tanks Blitz players won’t want to miss out on Convergence, a five-stage event which brings Korn to the widely popular game that boasts more than 137 million downloads globally. From October 16th through October 24th all players can complete in-game challenges to uncover pieces of band artwork and extra special items.

This event also features the brand-new Burning Games mode, where players will fight for dominance on the battlefield in order to secure in-game rewards. In a Halloween-themed twist, from the time the battle clock starts, every vehicle on the battlefield will start draining health like a vampire, and players will need to deal damage to their foes in order to get their health back. The Burning Games mode is available to all vehicles Tier V and above and runs from October 16th till October 24th.

“Wargaming is no stranger to musical collaborations, having teamed up with Iron Maiden, Swedish metallers Sabaton, and punk rock outfit, The Offspring, for previous projects,” said Andrey Ryabovol, Product Director of World of Tanks Blitz. “Korn is the perfect partner for our Halloween event, and we can’t wait for rock fans and World of Tanks Blitz players to experience this exciting collaboration.”

“I really like World of Tanks Blitz. It’s true to the era, there are a lot of great tanks in there, and you don’t just jump in and start shooting,” said Jonathan Davis, lead vocals, Korn. “I think there is a connection between rock and video games because video games are intense and rock ’n’ roll music is intense. It seems like they have always gone hand in hand.”

The music video for ‘Finally Free’ tells the story of Captain, a die-hard Korn fan (and a known character in the World of Tanks Blitz universe) who’s doing all he can to get to Korn’s live performance at the ‘Burning Games’. The problem is a crew of wasteland raiders who do all they can to keep him from his goal. Will he make it to the front row of the Korn show in time?

The Halloween extravaganza will also include The Way of the Raider, a 60-stage event. Tankers will be able to get Credits, Free XP, days of Premium Account, several camos, a сustom player profile, and two new post-apocalyptic vehicles: The Tier V Spike and the Tier VII Annihilator. Both tanks are featured in the new video from Korn. All tankers who complete all 60 stages will be able to get their hands on the unique animated “Radioactive Glow” camo. The Way of the Raider runs from October 16th through October 31st, and is available to all vehicles Tier V and above.

And finally, from October 24th through October 31st, Mad Games makes a welcome return. A true fan-favorite, the game mode gives tankers unique abilities ordinary tanks could only wish for.

Rock Out With Korn on AdventureQuest 3D

AdventureQuest 3D and AQ Worlds have a very rocking collaboration event coming soon to their multi-platform MMORPG. They have announced this past week that there will be an in-game event and concert with the band Korn – great band by the way. Developers Artix Entertainment has partnered with the band and their avatar versions will be in-game and rocking away. Beginning on August 20^th, arena floors will be flooded with KORN-inspired monsters which are choreographed to the songs. Players will battle back-to-back for survival, glory & epic loot.

The player’s goal is to defeat monsters & boss monsters before the end of the song to earn a treasure chest full of loot. There are also quests and items that drop from monsters. AdventureQuest 3D added new heavy metal emotes to be used in the event. In AdventureQuest Worlds, players can combine items to create the Heavy Metal Necromancer Class. KORN superfans will have the option to purchase VIP and Backstage Passes to the in-game event, unlocking additional limited-time items and, of course, posing for a selfie with the virtual band.

The in-game event will be taking place simultaneously in both AdventureQuest 3D and AQWorlds. Players will be able to battle brutal and gruesome monsters, some of which are inspired by the artwork of past albums such as Issues with headbanging fervor. While in the all-out mosh-fest, players will be able to listen to iconic songs from the genre-defining band as well as “You’ll Never Find Me” from their forthcoming album, THE NOTHING. How about that for a mashup.
