Mabinogi MMORPG Will Celebrate 14th Anniversary on March 27 with Server Mergers, XP Event and More

Today, leading game publisher Nexon announced its venerable free-to-play fantasy MMORPG Mabinogi will be celebrating its 14th anniversary on March 27. Players will be able to engage in celebratory bonuses and activities for the game’s anniversary through April 14. As part of continuing quality of life improvements, Mabinogi will also be merging servers on April 14, so that global players can continue to embark on mystical adventures together.

The 14th anniversary celebration will include an abundance of updates from equipment repair cost reduction to 20% of the original price to Crom Bás dungeon polishing such as increased drop rate and overall dungeon length reduction. Additionally, the celebration brings a range of prizes, new missions and quests, starting on March 17, including:

14th Anniversary Night Bazaar – Meet Dero the Eventsman near Festia’s Main Gate and register your main character to participate in this guide quest, receive prizes, and play mini-games. Plus, all characters will be able to receive a 14th Anniversary Check design when issuing a check from the Tir Chonaill bank.
14th Anniversary Quests
- Bazaar Experience – This achievement quest rewards players with a special Festival Souvenir Hebona Robe sewing pattern with the opportunity to win a Festival Commemorative Luxury Equipment Bag Box, 20,000 EXP, and 25 instant prize tickets after completing all objectives.

Daily Quests: Finding Fruitful Fulfillment – Every day brings a different task for players to compete around the Night Bazaar for rewards. Players will be able to receive Cotton Candy from the Dessert Merchant, play in a variety of mini-games, and embark on great adventures by entering the Cave of Trials.
14th Anniversary Hotdays – Players will be able to receive a special 14th Anniversary On-Time Gift Box every week and receive 10 Night Bazaar Stickers every weekend on Saturday and Sunday by logging in during the event.
Festia Instant Prize Event – Try your luck at the Capsule Machine, located next to Fez in Festia, to open the Instant Prize window with 20,000 gold or one Instant Prize Ticket, which can be gained by participating in certain 14th Anniversary events.

On the heels of the 14th anniversary celebratory activities, players should expect Mabinogi servers to fully integrate on April 14. A new server, Erinn, will be launched on this date. It’s an exciting time to join the world of Mabinogi!

Mabinogi Gets New Challenging Dungeon and Stardust Skills In New Update

Leading game developer Nexon has announced the newest Stardust update for its free-to-play fantasy MMORPG Mabinogi. Beginning today, Milletians will be introduced to the latest non-playable character (NPC) Melwyn, who will award players with materials to unlock mystical Stardust skills. Players will also be able to participate in the challenging Shadow Missions and new Intermediate Dungeon Levels.

In the latest update to the Stardust saga, Milletians will be greeted by Melwyn in the Royal Society of Astronomy, who will offer a series of quests. Upon completion, Melwyn will award players with materials that can be used to unlock all five new Stardust skills and its supporting effects.

Exciting new dungeon content will be available as part of the new update: the TailTeann Shadow Missions includes the “Let Them Fight” and “All-Out War”, and the Tara Shadow Missions allow players to participate in the “Sniper War” or the “Shadow Realm Champion”. Milletians who successfully complete these four new missions will have a chance to obtain two spectacular Enchant Scrolls by opening the final treasure chest after completing each dungeon.

Additionally, new intermediate dungeons will also be introduced, and can only be accessed with an Intermediate Dungeon Pass that provides entry into the Intermediate Math, Rabbie and Barri Dungeons. To purchase the pass, head over to the Researcher’s Shop near the Poulnabrone Rock in Dunbarton. Each dungeon will reward players with more Enchant Scrolls once the respective dungeon has been completed successfully.

Classic MMO Mabinogi Is Celebrating Its 13th Anniversary With In-game Events

This month, Nexon America is celebrating the 13th anniversary of beloved fantasy-MMORPG Mabinogi! To commemorate this remarkable milestone and celebrate with fans, Mabinogi is offering a series of in-game events for all players starting March 18th. During the event, Milletians are invited to gather in Festia to play new mini-games, collect prizes and daily rewards, explore new content and more.

“It is humbling to be able to celebrate Mabinogi’s 13th birthday with Mabi fans around the world,” said Kenny Chang, General Manager of Nexon America. “Since Mabinogi’s inception in 2008, the MMORPG has grown tremendously in the gaming community and we’re happy to commemorate another wonderful and successful year with more content updates and rewards for all in the magical world of Erinn.”

To participate in the limited-time celebration, Milletians can head over to Festia to meet with festival host Thirteen and register a main character. Upon registration, players will receive rewards for daily logins, including 13th Anniversary Coins for Thirteen’s Shop and Festia Entry Passes to play mini-games. Plus, visit the Dessert Merchant for Cotton Candy and to receive a random EXP buff or AP.

Mabinogi’s 13th Anniversary mini-games include:

Pop the Balloon: Upon arrival at Festia, players can visit Patriot’s limited-time booth and try to break the highest balloon-popping record. Players will receive Anniversary Coins and Festia Instant Prize Tickets for participating.

Mysterious Balloons: Balune the Balloon Artist needs players’ help! Milletians will need to work with him to gather materials for more balloons and receive Instant Revive Balloons.

Clobbermeister: Players can speak to the Clobbermeister Staff in Festia to join the mini-game and show their power. Participants are given 20 seconds to deal as much damage as possible to select punching bags. After the time elapses, players will be rewarded with a Festia Commemorative Gift Box and 13th Anniversary Gift Box.

Cave of Trials: Milletians will meet with Duro the Trialkeeper and enter the Cave of Trials! Players will be challenged to defeat the monsters that lurk in each cave to advance to the next trial, but beware of the new mysterious boss that will be revealed at the final trial.

Moreover, players can prepare to arm characters with more powerful Spirit Weapons as they add up to three Spirit Transformation Liqueurs. The transformations can now be applied directly from the inventory, allowing players to easily access the powerful boosts.

Mabinogi Unveils First Part of Hypernova Update

Nexon’s massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Mabinogi today unveiled the first part of its new G25 update, Hypernova: Eclipse, exploring the 6th night of the Seven Nightmares and introducing two new NPCs on December 17. While waiting for the update and the update event, Hyper Bingo, Milletians can participate in the G25 Precursor Event and Winter 2020 Master Plan available now.

Starting December 17, players can check out the final story of Chapter 7 and learn more about Pontiff Etain, who was given her mighty power by the God of Love, and Enya, a believer of Lymilark and member of the Pontiff’s court.

In addition, a new Hyper Bingo event will also be playable through January 14th with great rewards including reforging tools, new figure, 2nd title coupon, outfits, chairs, and more.

To prepare for the Mabinogi G25: Hypernova update, players can participate in a series of limited-time in-game events available now:

G25 Precursor Event: Until December 17, players can help Caravan Joe in Dunbarton Town Square to receive sweet rewards such as the Black Combo Card, Skill Black Combo Card Exchange Coupons, and Black Moon Stone Fragment to grow to obtain gems.

Winter 2020 Master Plan: Through February 11, players can receive many buffs and hotday rewards including reforging tools and upgrade stones, daily free rebirths, new advancement skill training EXP and rank up bonuses, echostone upgrade success rate, and so much more. Also available are the shops with new outfits, wings, enchant scroll, 2nd title coupons, and more, which are purchasable with the winter coins players can earn through the event.

The second part of Mabinogi’s G25 update, Hypernova: Glyphwright, will be available in January, marking the final and seventh night of the Seven Nightmares.

Mabinogi Will Launch P.E.T. Update On July 16

Mabinogi, Nexon’s free-to-play fantasy MMORPG will be receiving the delightful new “P.E.T.” update on July 16! Following the introduction of Mabinogi’s exciting furry pets in the “My Little Pet” update, the World of Erinn is changing with the addition of more powerful Fynn Pets.

While the recent “My Little Pet” update expanded activities for pets embarking on expeditions to explore the world of Erinn, the P.E.T. update challenges players with a new Pet Training talent to discover the Power of the Fynn and set out to unlock stronger Fynn Pets.

To unlock Fynn Pets, players need to sync their main pet with other pets using Fynn Sync. The Fynn Pet will receive the Power of the Fynn, increasing a pet’s max level, inventory, summoning time and more! With the update, players can also defeat monsters to obtain Fynni Gems and bloom the Fynni Gems through the Fynni Blossoming skill to gain a Fynni Pet. Fynni Pets can accompany players similar to other pets, and can be used for Fynn Sync.

Existing Pet Perks will also be revamped to increase efficiency. Additionally, all pets will now be able to use a set of new more powerful Pet Perks, including:

Wild Frenzy: Increases a pet’s minimum, maximum and critical damage for a set period while the perk is activated. An additional attack will reach several enemies within a certain radius of the target.

Frozen Earth: Ice cold Fynni will gather and play as a pet covers the ground with a sheet of ice. The icy Fynnis will cling to enemies nearby while the skill is activated, stunning and causing damage.

Wings of Haste: Speeds up a pet’s ability for a set duration while activated. Pet owner’s speed will also increase.

While harvesting Capybara Fur and helping Heulfryn, players will encounter peculiar children, Pinkie and Katell. They speak of secrets of the Fynni imbued within pets and monsters as well as how to control them through the power of Fynn. Learn of Mag Mell, the last resting place of the Fairies.

Fynn Pets add another magical element to the already charming world of Mabinogi, as players utilize special pet abilities and perks that can be activated during various battles across Erinn, and more.
