Adele is a highly anticipated class coming to Global MapleStory on June 24, after her popular introduction in Korea’s MapleStory server. Wielding Aether Swords conjured from pure magic, Maplers will find Adele nearly unstoppable, striking enemies without ever touching them.

Starting on June 10, the Tera Burning event will be back to support players leveling up new characters during the Rise event period. Players can rapidly gain a total of three level increases through each advancement up to level 200. Players who reach levels 200, 205, and 210, respectively, with their Tera Burning character after completing 5th job advancement, will receive special quest rewards.

Rounding out the Rise: Promise of the Guardian update, Maplers can participate in several themed events to earn a variety of gifts along the way:

• Rise Salon: The first stop on the journey, players level 101 and beyond can pop in after completing the ‘[Rise] Invitation to the Rise Salon’ quest through the event notifier.
• Rise Fountain: Granting wishes to visitors, the Rise Fountain is an area where players can come to put their Rise Coins aside, earning themselves varied rewards.
• Rise Coin Shop: The main shop in the Rise Salon, players will need to find Gilberto in the Rise Salon map to purchase a variety of items using Rise Coins.
• Rise Royal Shop: For players looking for special items, the Rise Royal Shop is a player’s paradise. Maplers who find and chat with Melissa can purchase a multitude of items here with Rise Coins.
• Rise Stamp Shop: Diligent players who collect all of the daily Salon Stamps can purchase a plethora of goods from the Rise Stamp Shop, which houses everything useful and convenient.
• Rise Famous Painting: This painting is said to be the most cherished painting by Daria, the Rise Salon’s host. Players who use the Salon Stamp can acquire a mysterious buff from the painting.

Kicking off on July 8, Maplers level 205 and beyond will also uncover Reverse City, a region along the Arcane River, and discover the upside down city.

First up in the game’s crystal anniversary celebration is the Honorary Pixel Hero Event held through June 9. Born from beautiful Maple World memories, the newly established Pixel Kingdom is home to Princess Aurora. However, when dark forces steal her away, players must become Honorary Pixel Heroes to rescue the Princess and save the kingdom by collecting Pixel Power to increase their rank and unlock four legendary equipment items.

Additionally, the Pixel Coin Shop will be open for Maplers to redeem Pixel Coins earned through their Hero Training for Pixel items and more. Through May 19, players can also create one Mega Burning Project character per world to earn a total of 3 level-ups with every 1 from level 10 through 150. Earn rewards such as “Keep On Burning” title, Lv. 30 Equipment Box, Legendary Cryptic Chest, and Mysterious Cryptic Chest.

The Familiar system is also getting a revamp during the 15th anniversary festivities. The revamped system will improve the accessibility, user interface, and overall usability, so Maplers can enjoy a more seamless gameplay experience.

Last, but not least, MapleStory will be hosting a welcome event especially catered to MapleStory 2 players. Through May 26, MapleStory 2 players are invited to participate in special quests and relays to earn rewards such as the new “Tria Traveler” title, a 90-day Ducky Mount Coupon, Maple Welcome Damage Skin, and more.

The free update grants everyone the opportunity to acquire horses, cutting travel time significantly, as well as adding a powerful new aspect to combat. Players will now be able to joust, swing their swords and even fire arrows from horseback, potentially mowing down unsuspecting victims with lightning speed.

A new follower leveling system is also in place, meaning Exiles can gain experience points for their thralls, pets and horses. Followers will also be able to gain random perks, some of which are rare and powerful.

The free update is released at the same time as the new DLC Riders of Hyboria, which introduces a bunch of new decorative options, weapons and building pieces. Riders of Hyboria is available for $9.99 / €9.99 on all platforms and as part of the Year 2 Season Pass. It contains:
 2 exclusive mount skins, one befitting the knight in shiny armor, the other perfect for a dark and gruesome warlord.
 6 exclusive mount saddles, each suited for different playstyles, such as scout and cavalry.
 25 new mounts-related building pieces, specifically designed so you can create your own stables.
 3 new armor sets, including the fabled Poitain Cavalier armor.
 11 new weapons, including lance, greatsword, katana and warhammer, all originating from the proud nation of Poitain.
  14 new decorative items, specifically designed to spruce up your stables.
All the new content in Riders of Hyboria Pack is exclusive to this DLC and adds a host of new visual options but does not give any in-game advantage in power. All the new items have comparable stats to existing items.

Hoyoung, an all-new Anima thief class premiering in today’s update, brings a variety of skills and gameplay to Maple World using the Ritual Fan and Fan Tassel. With the help of Taotie, one of the four perils, Hoyoung looks to fix his mistake and reseal the monsters he accidentally unleashed upon the world.

The Glory: Savior of Hope update introduces the city of Cernium, which is amidst war. Fearing the worst as the enemy advances on the city walls, Prince Carlisle and the Maple Alliance invite players to join the fight to save Cernium from imminent danger and bring peace to Maple World!

In addition to the introduction of the new Hoyoung class, fans can participate in the Hoyoung Level-Up Event, allowing Maplers to level up for a chance to obtain an Arcane Umbra weapon. Maplers can also explore the newly revamped Global MapleStory exclusive storyline, discovering new quests and rewards along the way. In addition, players can meet the more powerful Jett with the 2nd update.

In this next phase, Maplers can join the legendary Glory Guard as part of the Glory event, running from November 20, 2019 to January 28, 2020. Players will receive Glory, earn Special Supply Boxes, and meet with exciting new missions as they progress through the ranks of the Maple Alliance’s Glory Guard forces.

Additionally, Hoyoung, a new Anima thief class, will be available on December 4, 2019. Originally from a temple in the mountains of Grandis, Hoyoung finds himself traveling the lands of Maple World to reseal the monsters he accidentally unleashed after unlocking the ancient seal. Equipped with a Ritual Fan and Fan Tassel, along with a variety of skills, Hoyoung is determined to undo his mistake by resealing the monsters he let out, with the help of Taotie, one of the four perils.

Several quality of life improvements will also be applied in this update. Experience required to level up from 220 – 234 will be decreased by 25 percent. New balancing changes, including New 5th Job Skills, which increases a players stats and damage, will provide a smoother, fairer, and more enjoyable MapleStory experience to all.

Players can enjoy additional events beginning November 20, including:

• Glory Pre-Registration — Players who join the Glory Guard by December 3, will receive VIP Royal Hair and Face Coupon rewards.
• Tera Burning — Maplers who make new Tera Burning characters gain two extra levels per level-up until they reach 200!
• Extreme Breakthrough Event — Players who level up new characters from 201 to 220 will receive various rewards and access to missions with special items, including the Extreme Breakthrough Damage Skin.

MapleStorySEA and its latest patch is now live in-game. The update features a brand new adventure for Maplers to embark on, in the snowy region of El Nath, Abrup Basin. The Monad patch will be released in two parts; the first part already available while the second part is scheduled for today, 15 August.

Meanwhile, MapleStorySEA has not one but two campaigns to bring attractive prizes to all fans! These two campaigns will occur both offline and online so MapleStory players should keep a lookout for it!

The first episode of Monad takes place in Abrup Basin where trouble has recently been brewing due to a mysterious virus that is infecting the monsters of the land. The player starts the quest by receiving a letter from a mysterious old lady calling for the recipient of the letter to send help. The player finds the village which burns down shortly after, the player then decides to travel with the villagers to the next village in order to seek shelter before the blizzard arrives. Players can expect an intricately crafted story that will transport them into a different realm from one that they are used to.

Players will play a different role from regular MapleStory quests; regular quests in MapleStory would require a player to find a person or farm for items. In each checkpoint in the Monad story, the player would have to complete certain actions in order to proceed on to the next checkpoint. For example, while moving to the next village, the player must select the correct answer to keep the morals of the villagers high. For every wrong selection, groups of villagers will abandon the caravan. The player will fail the checkpoint when there are no more villagers and will be forced to restart that particular checkpoint again.
