World War 3 Is Hosting a Free Public Stress Test Until February 7

MY.GAMES and The Farm 51 invite everyone to participate in the Public Stress Test of their tactical online FPS World War 3 this upcoming weekend on Steam and the MY.GAMES Store. It will run from February 3 at 13:00 CET/12:00 GMT/04:00 PT/07:00 ET until February 7 at 13:00 CET/12:00 GMT/04:00 PT/07:00 ET.

World War 3 aims to offer a fully authentic tactical experience evocative of real warfare while still being accessible. The game features weapons modelled on those used by real militaries around the world. Realistic gameplay features like ballistics, physics, and full body awareness combine to create a truly authentic and immersive modern combat experience.

The World War 3 CBT launched last November and is available to players with Closed Beta packages and those who purchased the game during its initial Early Access release on Steam. The Public Stress Test will help prepare World War 3 for its Open Beta in March 2022.

During the Public Stress Test, players will be able to progress through the whole World War 3 Closed Beta, which includes full access to two modes and four maps: Team Deathmatch in Berlin and Warsaw, as well as Tactical Ops in Berlin, Warsaw, Moscow and Polyarny. Also, players who participate in World War 3 Public Stress Test between February 3 and February 7 will receive an exclusive reward – LWH Dark Helmet.
To acquire access to the Public Stress Test, players can download World War 3 for free from MY.GAMES on February 3 or request access on Steam. To participate, players will need a MY.GAMES account which will be automatically generated for Steam users when launching the game.

Players will have an option to keep all their progress made during the Public Stress Test and retain access to the game throughout the rest of the Closed Beta by purchasing CBT Packs. Starting with the OBT launch scheduled for March 2022, World War 3 will reset all player progress and switch to a free-to-play distribution model.

Halo Infinite’s F2P Multiplayer Gets New Cyber Showdown Event, Mode and Cosmetics

Halo Infinite’s free to play multiplayer’s brand new event has arrived, Cyber Showdown, running until February 1st. The event brings with it a new mode called Attrition alongside some cyberpunk-ish looking cosmetic rewards for armor and weapons.

Attrition is a frantic new Slayer mode where lives are shared across your team. Each team has a limited number of lives – revive your teammates when they fall and deplete the enemy’s lifepool to finish them off. Last team standing wins! It’s classic, competitive 4v4 action with a unique spin on how you operate as a team.

Cyber Showdown also features a unique reward track with themed items, similar to what you’ve come to expect from Fracture: Tenrai.

There are 10 Event Challenges overall, spread evenly through your pool of Weekly Challenges, while the Event is live. For each Event Challenge completed, you will earn the next reward from your Event Reward track and unlock more cyber-themed goodness.

The Snowstorm Season Hits Warface for the Holidays

Global publisher MY.GAMES begins the holiday celebration in its tactical first-person shooter Warface with the Snowstorm season. The new season includes a renewed battle pass, New Year maps, and the new agent is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch as a free update.

Also, the limited-time PvP event “Winter Fiesta” started today on PC only. Players will fight on New Year’s maps during the event to receive additional rewards, including the new OTs-14 Groza assault rifle and the Crystal series weapons.

The Snowstorm Season kicked off in Warface on PC and consoles earlier this December, and along with it, a renewed Battle Pass became available to players. By completing both daily tasks and general activities during the season, players will receive valuable rewards, including weapons for different classes such as MC 255 12 Custom, АS Val Custom, H&K UMP Custom and AMP DSR-1 Custom, as well as “Snowstorm” and “Tundra” series.

The new season also brings holiday decorations to popular maps for Team Deathmatch mode. Classic maps Hangar, District No. 4, and Oil Depot have been given vibrant Christmas decorations and are now available for players to re-experience.

New contracts are available to all players, by completing these contracts they can receive New Year’s trinkets, achievements, as well as a series of guns and weapons. A new agent, “Lotus”, has also been added as part of the season and includes a unique appearance and themed equipment.

MMOFPS Enlisted Is Hosting a Free Weekend Until November 22nd For Its New Modern Conflict Mode

If you ever wanted to try MMO Shooter Enlister, this weekend is the time because Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software announced that this weekend gamers will be able to prove themselves in battlefields from modern times. Enlisted: Modern Conflict players wll use authentic weapons and combat vehicles relevant to 21st century conflict and fight in massive, believable and dynamic squad-based first person battles.

Modern Conflict action takes place in a desert region where one faction uses mostly NATO weapons (i.e. M4A1 carbine), while the other side is equipped with mostly Russian designed gear. All players will get predetermined assault and sniper infantry squads as well as modern tanks. There is a good choice of weapons like assault rifles, sniper rifles and shotguns, both unique to each faction and available to both sides. Two signature masterpieces of modern tank design, the М1А1 НС and the T-80U, engage each other in fierce duels, shield infantry from enemy fire and crush the enemy defences. All infantry squads will get shovels that can be used to dig trenches.

Modern Conflict mode is available for free from now up until November 22nd on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with users from all platforms being able to play together.

Insurgency: Sandstorm Gets New Mode, Map, Weapons and More In Free Update This Week

Insurgency: Sandstorm, the smash-hit immersive FPS from New World Interactive and Focus Entertainment, is expanding even further with the huge, free “Operation: Warlord” update, available now on PC (and coming in the future to consoles). Players will be able to escort or target the VIP in the new highly anticipated Ambush mode, discover a dynamic new map, master two fresh weapons, and flaunt bonus cosmetics.

In the new Ambush mode, a single player will be appointed the VIP. Security must get the VIP to the extraction point alive while Insurgents try to hunt them down. With close-to-mid-range combat dominating the new “Gap” map, players will have ample opportunity to use the new Vector and P90 weapons against their foes.

The update also adds free new cosmetics, as well as a variety of general improvements and fixes. In addition, Insurgency: Sandstorm’s new Praetorian Set Bundle, included as part of the game’s Year 2 Pass and Gold Edition, expands the collection of cosmetics even further with a range of exclusive outfits and weapon skins.

Steam players can currently buy Insurgency: Sandstorm for 50% off for a limited time. The “Operation: Warlord” update is planned to arrive on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One in the future. Check out the the trailer below.

Rogue Company: Everything You Need To Know About Season 4 Sinister Shadows

Rogue Company has released the ‘Sinister Shadows’ update, launching Season 4 and delivering a generous batch of new content. The update just went live on all platforms simultaneously.

New Map

The new ‘Wanted’ Map takes players on a mission to Mexico. Check it out in this Rogue Company – Map Reveal: Wanted. The Yucatán peninsula is seeing intense gunfights as Rogue Company takes on a new contract. Long ago, these colourful streets also saw Chaac’s origin story unfold.

By popular demand, a Limited-Time Mode allows players to jump into some Rogue Company action on the new Wanted Map exclusively – and it’s available right now.

New Battle Pass

Four top-quality Rogue Outfits depict sinister murderers each in their own style and full of flair. New Ranked Season

The update marks the beginning of the fourth Ranked season of Rogue Company. Ratings resets give a clean state to everyone. Veteran players start fresh, and they get to reap some hard-earned rewards for the end of Season 3.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Gets Free Geheimnisnacht Update

Geheimnisnacht is back in Warhammer: Vermintide 2, and this time, bigger and better than ever. The game’s free update this week for both PC and consoles, and is a yearly event which is shaping up to be the best one so far.

One of the new features of the event is the introduction of Grudge Masks. This brings an amplified challenge to the Chaos Wastes expansion of Vermintide 2, which will make the players face mutated enemies. The Chaos Wastes expansion was released earlier this year and is free for anyone that owns Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The Grudge Marked monsters are identified by two spears poking up through their backs. Depending on difficulty each Grudge Marked monster has a set of attributes that modifies their defensive and offensive behaviour. We are adding 10 attributes in this update. Grudge Marked monsters can only be found in Chaos Wastes.

MMO FPS Shooter Enlisted Is Now Available on PS4 and Xbox One

Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software announce that the online military shooter Enlisted, initially developed only for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S is now also available on the previous generation consoles. Owners of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have access to the Invasion of Normandy and Battle of Tunisia campaigns, while the Battle for Moscow will be added in the next update. Naturally, they will be playing on the same servers as existing players on other platforms. The Battle of Berlin campaign is also planned for the previous generation of consoles and will become available in a few months.

The release of Enlisted on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will allow players who have not yet had the opportunity to obtain more modern hardware to join the game. The development team has worked hard for over a year on optimizing performance and carefully adapting the massive and intense Enlisted battles for the previous generation of consoles. As a result, battlefields full of soldiers, armored vehicles and aircraft fighting simultaneously in the same location, can run at a stable 30 FPS, even on the basic PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems. The content of all available campaigns is exactly the same as on the newer generation of consoles and PC.

“As with any transition to a new generation of game consoles, the previous one maintains a huge user base for a few years” – Anton Yudintsev, co-founder of Gaijin Entertainment, explains. – “We were not sure that it was technically possible to release Enlisted on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, therefore we launched the game only on next-gen platforms where we achieved 4K@60FPS performance. We’re glad that now even more gamers can try our game”.

When players decide to upgrade their consoles from the PS4 to PS5 or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S to enjoy a better version of Enlisted, they will of course keep all of their progress and purchases.

Enlisted is available for download on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for free in the relevant digital stores for each respective platform.

F2P Shooter Free Fire Launches New Quantic Unknown Elite Pass

Free Fire, the world’s most downloaded mobile game in 2019 and 2020, will take Survivors to a dark and dangerous place in its latest Elite Pass (EP), Quantic Unknown, where they will face the venom of the scorpion.

Quantic Unknown takes inspiration from streetwear. Every element, from the texture and cut to the hairstyles, such as dreadlocks and highlight dyes, all contribute to accentuate the visual perception of uniqueness and trendiness. Survivors can get their pincers on Venomous Skorpios (Male) and Valiant Skorpina (Female) Bundles, and can earn other rewards including the Malevolent Sting backpack and grenade skins, Razor Blade and Razor Fangs skyboard skins, and Quantic Unknown jeep and weapon skins. The EP also features two in-game avatars and banners. Survivors who pre-order the EP will also receive the Malevolent Sting in-game box skin.

The cool, edgy scorpion concept has not been explored previously in Free Fire content, and the key color combination of black and purple evokes a mysterious and dangerous scorpion vibe. Other elements, such as scorpion details on the waist belts, mechanical scorpion tails on the backpacks, and the use of diamond shapes help carry the theme throughout the EP. Triangles and metallic textures convey sharpness as well as the feeling of danger and aggressiveness.
