MU Online Launches Official New SEA Server

Webzen has announced that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online has opened its doors to new Southeast Asia players along with opening transfers to the new SEA servers.

MU Online’s publishing service for Southeast Asian regions has been transferred to WEBZEN from the previous Asiasoft since March 22. Players in this region will have a dedicated community and support staff, as well as events, contests and tournaments managed via the global game portal ‘Webzen.com’ from now on.

To accommodate our new family members, WEBZEN now opens the new SEA servers – Noatun and Jotunheim. Previous MU SEA users will be able to apply for game data transfer including their characters, equipment, in-game currency, and items to the new servers until June 21st. Upon completing the transfer, their original data from MU-SEA will be transferred to their new Webzen account, which will allow them to play right away from where they stopped. Along with this service transition, the MU Online team is running celebration events to welcome our new family and give away gifts and goodies to players who complete their migration until April 12. Once previous SEA players complete their data transfer during the event period, they will receive free rewards such as Perishing Wing Box, Gold Channel Ticket and Scroll Package.

Players will be able to collect various types of the Elemental Symbols (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness) from the elemental monsters in the Temple of Arnil and Gray Aida to combine them into Superior Pentagram and Mastery Parts.

During the event period, Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, and Devil Square rewards are doubled. Also, the Guardian Upgrade Stones which can be acquired from NPC Moss have doubled drop rate. Additionally, the Mastery Equipment/Pentagram Enhancement Event, the Jewel of Harmony Refinement Event and the 300-hours playtime Event are ready for all newcomers.

In addition to the events above, 30% EXP boost, 20% monster HP decrease and free gifts such as Gold Channel Ticket, Talisman of Ascenion, Pet Skeleton and more will be awarded to all players, including original MU Global users.

In the game shop, a variety of special offers including Booster Box & BOL, Welcoming Package, and Buff & Scroll Package are also awaiting players looking for the best deals.

MU Online’s Season 16 Update 2 Adds Gray Aida, New Events and More

Classic MMORPG MU Online has launched Season 16 Part 2, which brings a new filed called ‘Gray Aida’ to the game. Gray Aida is a land that has lost its colors due to the work of dark magic, which brings along new elemental monsters and elite monsters.

Players will be able to collect various types of the Elemental Symbols (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness) from the elemental monsters in Gray Aida to combine them into Superior Pentagram and Mastery Parts.

The Season 16 Part 2 update also includes a new set option of 4^th Mastery accessory ‘Earring of Blood’ to upgrade the ‘Earring of Glory’. In addition, Mastery Accessory Upgrade Success Rate has been increased by 20%.

With a level-cap increase to Lv. 1350, MU Online will host an event to give away the season level reward, the limited-Edition Magic Gladiator Rexmilon Muun, when a character reaches level 1,300.

MU Online will also offer players extra 30% EXP and a reduction of 20% in Monster HP during the event period. The update event will be running until February 15, 2022.

The Update Point Shopping Event will offer users the opportunity to save up to 20 Update Points per day after logging in to the game for one hour. With the Update Points, players will have a chance to receive various rewards such as Gold Channel Ticket, Wings of Authority, Talisman of Ascension II and more.

The Lapidary Stone Ranking Event will also give out special prizes for Top 100 ranked players. To enter the top 100, players can earn 10 Raking Points per opening of the Lapidary Stone Box and collect them until the end of February 14 (UTC). Additionally, the top 10 players will receive the newly added ‘Earring of Blood’.

Aside from these events, Illuminating Earring Box Renewal, Lapidary Stone Box Sales, up to 30% Bonus Wcoin Event and special package deals are also waiting for players.

MU Online Gets Season 16 Update and New Summer Event

Webzen has released the latest update Season 16 Part 1 for its classic MMORPG MU Online.

Season 16 Part 1 brings a special giveaway to celebrate the arrival of a new character, ‘Gun Crusher’ with the addition of a new Speed Server. Starting from today, two Speed Severs in total allow players to experience a smother gameplay and better gaming environment. Especially in the new Speed Server, players can claim a lot of rewards including Gun Crusher’s Character Card, Gold Channel Ticket, +9 Divine Archangel Weapon and more in-game items and create their Gun Crusher character.

This new Speed Server will provide a great opportunity to take the fast route to levelling up to LV. 700 with plenty of benefits available in the Speed Server. MU Online Revamps Dark Knight Class, Season 15 Part 2 Arrives

Webzen has released today the second part of the Season 15 Part 2 update of its classic MMORPG MU Online.

MU Online’s second update of its newest season presents some exciting news for Mutizens, bringing a major change to the Dark Knight class. Players can now meet an all-renewed Dark Knight with two different types of attack and defense. New skills for both types were added, such as the Sword’s Fury as an attack-type skill that gives extra power, and Firm Belief as a defense-type skill that provides support to the party.

Partake in the latest update not only to check out the special renewal of the Dark Knight but also to join in the events prepared to celebrate the update. MU Online’s official website is holding fun events giving out great rewards to players. The Dimensional Roulette Event is back with even bigger prizes and you can spin the roulette to win Divine Archangel Weapon or Silver Heart Armor, Silver Heart Armor, and Blue Eye Weapon.

Classic MMO MU Online Begins New Season With Pre-registration and Events

Webzen has announced today the beginning of the pre-registration for Season 15 Part 2 and the New Year events for its classic MMORPG MU Online. To celebrate the New Year, the MU Online team is preparing a Season 15 Part 2 update which will soon arrive on January 26th. The first update of the New Year will include plenty of new content, such as the new field Crimson Flame’s Icarus and new items. All players can now pre-register for the new season update and claim rewards of 3-day Gold Channel Tickets and Bless of Light (Bound).

Also, players can receive boost item packages to help them become stronger, which are composed of Wizard’s Ring and Talisman of Ascension II for a day, and Bless of Light (Bound). Everyone who plays MU Online for an hour will be given a free gift during the event period, so do not miss this great chance to boost up your character.

MU Online Launches New Mobile App MU Lite

WEBZEN has announced today the release of the new mobile application MU Lite for its classic MMORPG MU Online.

MU Online goes beyond its PC version with the release of MU Lite, which is a mobile application that offers a simple service: connecting PC version accounts to mobile devices. MU Lite provides an easy but fun gameplay experience for PC MU Online players, offering them a way to enjoy the game even more.

In MU Lite, a new feature called Infinity Tower will be available as a way for users to receive many special rewards. The feature is composed of several stages and players can receive multiple rewards by clearing each floor. The gifts received in MU Lite can be used on the PC version of the game to enhance your character. Various enhancement items will be given, so try to reach the highest floor of the tower to become the strongest of all.

To explore the Infinity Tower on MU Lite, players whose characters are over level 400 should possess the Exploration Key, which is an entrance ticket to the tower. Players can easily obtain Exploration Keys by defeating monsters that are over level 90 on the PC version of MU Online. Kill the monsters and earn as many Exploration Keys as you can to enjoy the new service.

Along with the launch of the new mobile application MU Lite, plenty of events were organized to celebrate the release. During the event period, Exploration Keys will be given to everyone, every day at 9:00 (UTC), to encourage players to try out the MU Lite application. Webzen has announced today that its global game portal Webzen.com is hosting a Halloween Event.

Webzen will be opening a spooky mysterious mansion to celebrate Halloween. During the event period, all guests are welcome to come to the mansion for trick-or-treating and receive special candies as treats. Collected candies can be exchanged for rewards and even more treats can be received by visiting Webzen’s official Facebook page.

On Webzen’s official Facebook page, plenty of Halloween-themed events will be ready for players to enjoy. Special treats such as a giveaway code and the opportunity to win special in-game items for C9 and MU Online will be offered. MU Online Season 15 Arrives With Speed Server

Webzen released today the latest Season 15: Part 1 Update of its classic MMORPG MU Online.

The main highlight of the update is the Speed Server opening, where players can level up their character faster to get stronger. Speed Server is even more special this time due to the addition of the 10th new character, Slayer, a half-human and half-bat character. She will be available in the Speed Server during the event period.

Coupon giveaways will be held to celebrate the update and to reward players with extraordinary gifts. The coupon will consist of the Slayer character card, Gold Channel Ticket (7 days), Blood Angel Box, +9 Divine Archangel Weapon (3 days), and much more. MU Online Launching Part 2 of Season 14 On Feb 18th

MU Online will be launching all new content this month for players already knee-deep in Season 14. After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, February 18th, MU Online Season 14: Part 2 will bring new features into the game, including a new field ‘Atlantis of the Abyss’, a second Mastery accessory ‘Earring of the Ancestor’, a new system ‘Monster Soul Changer’, a Rune Mage Mastery Weapon as well as a level cap increase to 1,150.

In the meantime, the MU Online team is running a pre-register event on the official website starting from today until the weekly maintenance on February 18th. Everyone who pre-registers for the upcoming update will receive a Demon Pet, a Scroll of Quickness, and a Bless of Light for free.

Additional support event rewards such as a Gold Channel Ticket and Scroll Package for both beginner and returnees will be available until Season 14: Part 2 goes live.

Atlantis of the Abyss is a new field which will be available for players above level 1,010. Atlantis of the Abyss is composed of 3 Levels and filled with both elemental and new elite monsters.

Along with the upcoming update, a new Mastery Accessory, the Earring of the Ancestor, will be added by upgrading the Earring of Rage. In addition, Rune Mage’s new Mastery 4th weapon and 5th armor will allow players to meet the more empowered Rune Mage with the Soul Rune Mace & Blue Eye Armor.

Also, players will earn more rewards by purchasing the Monster Soul Changer from Ruud Shop and slaying monster filled with monster souls. Once players fill the Soul Changer with monster souls to a certain amount, they can exchange it for various rewards.
