Company of Heroes 3 Begins Multiplayer pre-Alpha Test on Steam

Legendary strategy franchise Company of Heroes is back, combining heart-pounding combat with new layers of strategy in a breathtaking Mediterranean setting. Relic Entertainment and SEGA has announced that players around the world can now play the brand-new Company of Heroes 3 Multiplayer Pre-Alpha, before the game’s full release in 2022. Players can head over to CompanyOfHeroes.com to join CoH-Development and pre-load the free Multiplayer Pre-Alpha right now.

The Multiplayer Pre-Alpha will allow players to jump online and get a first glimpse at some exciting new multiplayer combat. They can experience four Italian maps in a variety of game modes, including co-op vs AI opponents, competitive PvP and Skirmish vs AI, while trying out familiar and brand-new features like Full Tactical Pause in skirmish mode, vehicle side armour, Verticality, Battlegroups, and Veterancy. Two classic factions return, the US forces and The Wehrmacht, each bringing their unique and game-changing abilities to the battlefield. More factions will be revealed in the run up to launch, with Company of Heroes 3 promising more content than ever before.

Over on Relic’s community platform CoH-Development, passionate players have already been sharing their valuable feedback since Company of Heroes 3 was announced with a Pre-Alpha Preview this summer. The studio is looking forward to hearing from its community yet again on the upcoming Multiplayer Pre-Alpha to ensure that, with the gathered feedback, they deliver the biggest and best multiplayer experience at launch yet.

How to get access to CoH3

The Company of Heroes 3 Multiplayer Pre-Alpha is available for pre-load on Steam right now, and playable from Tuesday, 30^th November 5:00PM GMT until Tuesday, 7^th December 04:00AM GMT. Anyone that already has a COH-Development account, and has played the first Pre-Alpha, can simply head over to their Steam library, pre-load the Multiplayer Pre-Alpha and play the slice from its launch. New players can sign up to COH-Development for free here and link their Steam account to get access to the game tomorrow.

The Sandbox Unveils New Details About First Public Alpha: The Explorers, Coming This Summer

The Sandbox, the virtual world built onto the blockchain, has revealed new information about the game’s highly-anticipated Public Alpha: The Explorers. In this developer diary, The Sandbox has shared a first look at the game’s main hub; the starting point for your adventure in the Multiverse. A new Marketplace interface allows players to buy NFT wearables for their avatar and see all of the most important information at a glance, including the creator’s other designs. With the new Marketplace, you can now buy new LANDs directly, your own customisable piece of virtual real-estate that can be anything from an art gallery to a challenging combat arena.

The Sandbox has updated their Game Maker to include new combat mechanics such as a Parry and a Charged Attack with new UI to help you fend off enemies. Not to mention the quality of life updates with new camera controls and an auto-climb for a smoother user experience.

n The Explorers alpha event, all players will be able to download the game client and access the Main Hub, where they can visit the NFT museum, learn about the factions of The Sandbox and socialize with other players. The Alpha will be packed with more than 50 exclusive studio-approved experiences, offering hours of challenge and fun. Crafted social hubs will also be released where players can meet up with friends, meet new people and explore the lore of the Multiverse’s different factions.

The Sandbox is a unique virtual world where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences using NFTs. These NFTs come in the form of SAND, ASSETs, and LAND. SAND is the currency used within The Sandbox which can be used to purchase ASSETs. ASSETs, are tokens serving as creation elements in The Sandbox Game Maker and are used on LAND, the digital real estate in this metaverse. These components of The Sandbox work in concert to allow players create digital assets in the form of NFTs, upload them to the marketplace, and integrate them into games using the #nocode Game Maker.

Destiny 2 Launches Brand New Proving Grounds Strike

As part of the Season of the Chosen, Bungie have released the newest Strike in Destiny 2: the Proving Grounds. Zavala, Commander of the Vanguard, has issued a challenge to Caiatl, who has called for Guardians to prove themselves. Guardians will battle against the champions of the Cabal, fight for glory, and emerge as Champions of Humanity.

Guardians will battle across Nessus inside the monstrous Cabal Land Tank to earn Caiatl’s approval and entry into the Proving Grounds, where they will face the Champion of the Cabal and determine the Last City’s fate. Let the rite of proving commence!

The Proving Grounds is the latest Strike in the Season of the Chosen, joining the Devil’s Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Strikes to rotate out of the Destiny Content Vault. In Season of the Chosen, Guardians go head-to-head with the Cabal in the Battlegrounds after Zavala rejects Empress Caiatl’s offer of alliance. Season of the Chosen will run until 11th May. Killing Floor 2: Dystopian Devastation Update Has Gone Live

Developer and Publisher, Tripwire Interactive, is proud to announce that the esteemed title, Killing Floor 2, received another free content update today, Killing Floor 2: Dystopian Devastation. This update maintains Tripwire Interactive’s history of releasing free seasonal content updates for players since the game first launched in 2016. Out now for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, the annual spring event comes fully charged with electrifying new weapons, and more.

Killing Floor 2: Dystopian Devastation also introduces a new community map, Dystopia 2029. While conquering waves of zeds under neon lights and in seedy city streets, players can appreciate Dystopia 2029’s bleak futuristic style in standard survival, weekly, and endless game modes.

Additionally, players can slaughter in splendor with Killing Floor 2: Dystopian Devastation’s fresh weaponry. Demolitionists can pick up the Gravity Imploder, which will blast canisters at zeds to implode their heads—or use the alternative fire to draw them closer. Sharpshooters can sing this spring with new HRG weapon: the Beluga Beat. This gun shreds sonically, with the ability to charge up a shot to destroy with greater decibels. These weapons enter the fray with even more content, like added achievements, quality of life tuning, and seasonal store bundles.
