Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Extraction’s first post-launch Crisis Event, Spillover, is available today. Crisis Events are major, limited time events where players face unique large-scale threats in the Containment Zone.
 
As Sprawl Colonies spread across the hot zones, players must use the new Dissolution Agent canisters to draw out waves of enemies and wipe out colonies of the alien Sprawl. To face off against the hordes of Archaeans descending upon them, a strategic and defensive approach is crucial to survival. All players who login during Spillover will have a chance to earn the exclusive new REACT tech: the Auto-Turret, a deployable turret that automatically targets and attacks Archaeans.
 
Alongside Spillover, Zofia arrives today in Extraction. A beloved Rainbow Six Operator, Zofia is known for her highly skilled survival techniques and will be a crucial asset to the Rainbow Six Extraction roster both in Spillover and main game. By equipping additional defense REACT tech to Zofia’s Grenade Launcher, players can increase their chances for a successful incursion.
 
Spillover is the first of many Crisis Events and updates to come to Rainbow Six Extraction. Players can jump in now with their squad via Game Pass on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and Windows PC, as well as on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.

With development led by Ubisoft Montreal and supported by associate Ubisoft studios in Bucharest, Bordeaux, and Saguenay, Rainbow Six Extraction is a tactical online co-op PVE experience for up to three players, featuring beloved Operators from the Rainbow Six universe hand-selected to engage, contain, and eliminate a lethal, mutating alien threat.  
 
Both Rainbow Six Siege players and those looking for a new PVE co-op game will be challenged by an unknown alien threat, known as the Archæans, in Rainbow Six Extraction. Set in four regions across the U.S., containment zones are dominated by the alien parasite, creating an evolving and unstable ecosystem within their walls. 
 
Choose from 18 Rainbow Six operators, each equipped with specialized REACT gear, weapons, gadgets, and abilities to learn and master. With each incursion, every squad will face the difficult choice of pushing deeper for greater rewards or extracting – failing to extract means their Operator goes MIA, making them temporarily unavailable. Prepare to launch into thrilling and challenging high-stakes missions and risk it all. 
 
The Standard Edition is available now for £33.99 on PC and £44.99 on console, which includes free post-launch content, a deep gear and ability progression system, four adjustable difficulty levels, over 90 weapons and gadgets, 12 dynamic maps, 13 mission types, unpredictable enemy mutations, and more.  More content awaits players in Rainbow Six Extraction, with a sizeable amount of free and game-changing post-launch content coming alongside an evolving endgame available at launch. The Deluxe Edition, which includes everything from the Standard Edition alongside three bonus packs, is available for £41.99 on PC and £49.99 on console.  
 
To ensure a smooth rollout for all players, Rainbow Six Extraction’s Buddy Pass program will be held until shortly after launch, giving game owners the opportunity to invite two friends to play online co-op with them from any platform for up to 14 days, even if they don’t own the game.

]]> Today, Ubisoft® announced that Crystal Guard, the third season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 6, is now available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, the Xbox One family of consoles, Xbox Series X | S and Windows PC, including Ubisoft+, Ubisoft’s subscription service*. This new season brings innovations with the addition of the Croatian operator Osa, and the rework of the maps Bank, Coastline and Clubhouse. Additionally, players will be able to play Rainbow Six Siege and Crystal Guard for free from 9th – 12th September.
 
In Crystal Guard, players will discover a brand-new attacker: Osa, equipped with the Talon-8 shield, a deployable transparent shield that she can carry. Osa is armed with a 556xi or a PDW9 as a primary weapon and a PMM as a secondary weapon. In addition to the new operator, players will have access to the reworked maps Coastline, Bank and Clubhouse. These maps had some modifications as closed windows, new alleys, more destructible parts, bomb site placement and more. Also, improvements have been made to the following operators: Finka, Sledge, Glaz, Iana, Twitch, IQ, Mute and Fuze among other updates.
 
In addition, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be available for free from Thursday 9th September to Thursday 12th September on Playstation®4, Playstation®5**, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, and Windows PC via Epic Games, Steam and Ubisoft Connect. Year 6 Season 3 comes with a brand-new Battle Pass, including 100 tiers and 133 rewards, available until 23rd November. For the first time, the Battle Pass introduces a new reward: Battle Point Boosters, which are consumables that boost Battle Point gain by 20% when used at any time. The Battle Pass includes a free and a Premium track available for 1200 R6 Credits.  Owners of the Premium Battle Pass can play with Osa immediately and progress faster, while other players can unlock her with Renown or R6 Credits starting 21st September. New seasonal content including the map reworks and operator updates are available right now for free and for all players.
 
Additional updates coming with Crystal Guard include:
