Skyforge MMORPG Returns to Terra with the Heart of Steel Update

MY.GAMES has launched a new free update for fantasy MMORPG Skyforge. Heart of Steel is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The update contains a continuation of the ongoing storyline, two new dungeons and a new PvP Arena.

Continuing the Terra storyline, heroes will delve deeper than ever before into the bowels of this mysterious planet in a new adventure. Immortals will be able to bore into Terra’s Crystal Grottoes, which are awash with glowing water and shimmering crystals—a priceless, highly-coveted resource—while fending off evil forces.

Heart of Steel will also bring Wynd’s Laboratory, a new 5-player Dungeon, where players will uncover the dark secrets harboured in an industrial unit made by the father of the Mechanoids, the sinister William Wynd (also known as The Integrator).

After epic adventures, users will be able to have a bit of fun fighting it out with other Immortals playing in two teams of three in a new PvP Arena named Xintara’s Trial. Players will battle for supremacy across a map based on Terra’s subterranean labyrinthine network.

Skyforge Extends Demon Invasion Event Until November 17

Free to play MMORPG Skyforge has announced an extension to its Demon Invasion in-game event across PC, console and the Nintendo Switch device. The new end-date will be November 17th.

The Demon Invasion offers Skyforge players Seasonal Challenges to earn points throughout the Invasion, progress through up to 20 levels, and earn special rewards – including exclusive limited-time items! Seasonal Challenges are divided into Easy, Normal, and Hard categories, and more will be unlocked as the Invasion progresses (in the first, third, and fifth weeks). You’ll earn more points when completing certain challenges within the first few days of each stage, so check back often to finish your Invasion Pass even faster.

Besides that, the Invasion Atlas is a system that allows you to develop and enhance your Immortal and their abilities throughout the Invasion. Pick a development path and navigate through different nodes to unlock bonuses and abilities, including increased damage infliction and critical chances, reduced cooldowns, group buffs, and more. The path you take is completely up to you, so choose wisely to tailor and maximize your own powers against the Demons.

Skyforge is available to download and play for free on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Gorgonide Invasion Returns To Skyforge Today

Skyforge players who hate snakes, we’ve got bad news. The Gorgonide Invasion arrives today, July 21st, and these serpentine scoundrels led by the bedazzling Avatar Akonita, have returned and set their sights on Aelion once again.

During the invasion, players can complete seasonal challenges by sending Gorgonides slithering back into the darkest corners of the cosmos. You’ll earn Invasion Points as you go, unlocking Invasion-exclusive rewards like new cosmetics. There are also free rewards available to all players, but you can double your yield by purchasing an Invasion Pass!

As for rewards, you can unlock 20 rounds of exclusive, limited-time rewards, including a new Costume, Exoskeleton Modules, plenty of resources, currency, and other cosmetic items to up your style ante! You can also get the Flying Blades Wings as an instant reward when you purchase the Invasion Pass.

The new Exoskeleton Modules may be of particular interest to Aelion’s defenders. The Current Supply Base Module has a 20% chance of boosting your Companion’s attacks under certain conditions, while the Rear Electrode Back Module can supercharge your companion’s attacks to create electrified zones, increasing any damage you deal by a whopping 30%.

Skyforge Releases Free Hunters of Terra Update For PC and Console

My.Games has released a new free update for Skyforge; Hunters of Terra. Available today for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the update contains a new Bounty Hunter class, new Dungeon and new Squad Adventure.

The nineteenth class to join the Skyforge Roster, The Bounty Hunter is looking to make an explosive entrance. Wielding a handheld mortar and specializing in area of effect damage, the Bounty Hunter is armed to the teeth with explosive weapons. When the Bounty Hunter gets stuck in a tight spot, they have anti-grav and shield gadgets they can use in inventive ways.

Players can delve into new PvE content with the new bounty hunter and any existing characters. The new three player squad adventure Terran Rift in which the party explores an underground labyrinth that’s crawling with Mechanoids. In addition to the new squad adventure players can also dive into the Ancient Trails dungeon. This five player dungeon will take the adventuring party from the surface of Terra to it’s dark and mysterious depths.

This week also marked the anniversary of My.Games and as such players can redeem a 7-day premium membership for Skyforge, for which more information can be found on the website. Players can start playing Skyforge or jump in for free as both the game and the update are available at no additional cost. The game is available on steam or via the My.Games website.

Skyforge Releases New Pre-order Deals and Trailer Ahead of Nintendo Switch Launch

Global publisher MY.GAMES and developer Allods Team proudly reveal exciting new details for their upcoming free-to-play sci-fi MMO Skyforge ahead of its Nintendo Switch release on Feb. 4, 2021! In addition to an explosive new trailer giving gamers a first look at the awesome power of the nature-based mage Grovewalker class, details on three new pre-order bundles has been released for players interested in getting a headstart on their cosmic journey to defend the planet Aelion!

The new gameplay video features a first look at the raw mythical power of the Grovewalker class on the Nintendo Switch, as it battles its way through swarms of combat Mechanoids in the robotic domain of Factory 501. The next-generation of home consoles is here, and you can now experience Skyforge on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S thanks to full backwards compatibility!

The enhanced processing power of Sony and Microsoft’s latest consoles makes jumping into the world of Aelion faster and easier than ever. Average loading times are significantly reduced, with Skyforge loading up to 150% faster on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 compared to Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 (speeds may vary).

With cross-generational play, existing players can carry progress over from PlayStation 4 or Xbox One to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S respectively. Just log in with the PSN or Xbox Live account you used on your older system, and your character, items, and progression will all be ready to follow you into the future of console gaming.

Celebrations are in order and players are treated with a massive content update introducing festive events as well as new content and features to thank all players. A new divine form, new progression systems and celebratory anniversary costumes await players to commemorate five years of Skyforge in the brand-new Fifth Anniversary expansion on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Aelion Day Celebrations

Aelion Day commemorates the bonds that unites its players, which pays tribute to the Immortals who protect Aelion from invasion on a regular basis. Festivities are in full swing, and players can try their hand at a range of new missions to earn five special anniversary costumes.

A New Phytonide Invasion

Another good way which takes a little longer is to complete Public Execution activities in hyena controlled areas. The rescued civilians will drop Hyena bounties which also count toward your league progress.

Nightmare Challenges

The Nightmare difficulty already challenges players by cranking up the adversity during adventures. Maledictions are new difficulty modifiers leading to new rewards that will affect certain aspects of gameplay. Some make players more vulnerable to damage or limit the use of their Divine Form.

Celebrate five years of Skyforge with the Fifth Anniversary expansion, now available as a free update for PC. The update will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 9th.

Free to play MMORPG Skyforge has released its latest expansion, Rock and Metal, for the PC with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases on the way. Players must now take up arms against the deadly reptilian Draconids of Terra in an all-new dungeon: the Toxic Wasteland! The new expansion also unleashes the power of the Black Metal Collection, an amped-up arsenal of weapons for the Firestarter, Soundweaver, and Grovewalker classes and an all-new unlockable Elder God form to aid Immortals in their quest to save Tera from its cold-blooded invaders!

In this new adventure, players are tasked with navigating the industrial badlands of the Toxic Wasteland, defeating Draconid patrols, and finding a way to underneath the mysterious impenetrable energy dome found in the dark excavation site below. Amidst the scorched earth, toxic swamps, and deadly fumes, players will encounter plenty of hazards and resistance efforts, but intelligence can be gleaned from certain safe zones. Fighting through the dig site will be tough, but it shouldn’t be much of a problem for Aelion’s finest!

To aid in this battle, a new unlockable Elder God form is now available. The Aspect of Vengeance is a powerful ranged form that can be accessed by any class! This gigantic blue marksman wields mastery over bows and plasma cannons, and can summon divine lightning, volleys, and punishing weapons from the sky. Utilise the Aspect of Vengeance’s supreme deadeye abilities, and let none escape your sights alive!

For Immortals interested in extra demi-power, the “Rock and Metal” expansion offers the Black Metal Collection, an amped-up arsenal of weapons for the Firestarter, Soundweaver, and Grovewalker classes! Inspired by the dark edges of rock, punk, and metal culture, these weapons are raucous, resilient, and ready to rock enemies to their core. The collection, consisting of three new bundles, can be accessed in the in-game store and each provides an exclusive weapon, class unlock, premium time and ether catalysts to aid in the path to becoming a rock ‘n’ roll legend.

Free to play MMORPG Skyforge has just released its latest expansion Ignition for PC. PS4 and Xbox One players will receive the expansion tomorrow. The update broadens the world of Aelion with all-new content and lore surrounding the banishment and return of the Elder God Kir. This all-powerful mage, along with his army, the Cult of Flame, plans to rebuild the glory of their cruel, forgotten empire. The expansion also introduces the Firestarter class, the first fire-based class to enter Skyforge. So what are the new features? Read on.

The Backstory

Long before players rose to defend Aelion, the sci-fi world of the acclaimed action MMO Skyforge, from the threat of invasion, an ancient evil rose to power and changed the game’s world forever. This expansion brings shadows from Aelion’s past blazing into its future From the brand-new Firestarter class, to a hot new Elder God form, and an endlessly replayable dungeon bursting with random events and branching paths.

New Firestarter Class

The biggest draw for the Ignition expansion is the introduction of the game’s first fire based class. Thousands of years ago, a mad Elder God waged a terrible war against the free peoples of Aelion. The fire mage was eventually defeated, but his essence endured, and his powers have been granted to chosen Immortals to create the Firestarter class! This ranged damage dealer is a master of fire magic, and is the eighteenth class to join the Skyforge universe. Players can harness the Firestarter’s power to conjure fireballs, breathe fire, trigger geothermal eruptions, unleash red hot dance moves, summon a cataclysmic hellstorm of meteors, and transform into a Fire Cat to end battles with purrfect finesse.

Elder God Form: Aspect of Magic

Players who have become fully-fledged Elder Gods can enjoy the Aspect of Magic, a magnificent new form that will be unlocked when high divinity is achieved. With this mysterious new power, characters are surrounded by five Ether spheres which can activate special abilities to help with ranged combat. Employ enhanced crowd control abilities, more effective damage dealing against multiple targets, harder-hitting attacks, longer stuns, and even more!

New Dungeon: Heart of the City

Set on the planet Terra, the Heart of the City is a unique dungeon that features exciting randomly generated events and multiple branching paths that can be unlocked with every playthrough. Will players’ adventures lead to an explosive confrontation with the cold-blooded Draconids, a race to stop a deadly biological threat, or an expedition to the wreckage of a spaceship? There’s danger at every corner in these sprawling ancient ruins, but secrets and treasures await dedicated explorers! To access the Heart of the City, players must first complete a series of Draconid quests on Terra.
