Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announce that the mobile vehicular action online game Crossout Mobile will soon launch on Android (February, 3rd) and iOS (February, 10th) in North America, Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Previously, the game was only available in the UK, Poland, Russia and a few other countries. Crossout Mobile will also get a huge update in February with new maps, vehicle parts and other content.

Сrossout Mobile is a new action game developed from scratch that brings the gameplay and the world of the popular Crossout online game to mobile platforms. Wasteland warriors ride post apocalyptic armoured vehicles and fight over the scraps of resources in the ruins of the Earth civilization that we know. One of the maps brings players to the abandoned oil derrick in the midst of the dried out Adriatic sea, another one to the former space shuttle launching facility with one machine still waiting for an ignition command. Crossout Mobile players craft their own unique vehicles from myriads of available parts and enter battle under the flag of one of the five factions.

An armoured vehicle might be armed either with the usual suspects like machine guns or shotguns, or with some more exotic items. For example, one type of weapon launches an explosives-stuffed wheel at the enemy! There are also futuristic devices like the railgun or even a tesla-gun that scorches enemies with human created lightning. It’s also important to equip some armour and defensive modules (for example, one granting invisibility), while not making the vehicle too heavy to move around. Crossout Mobile players can use up to 40 parts in the single vehicle in total, and that’s more than enough to create some really crazy designs.  The fun thing is that any part on the vehicle can be individually destroyed in battle, so good sharpshooting skills will allow players to disarm or immobilize the enemy.

The full list of countries where Crossout Mobile will become available for free this February is: Australia, Algeria, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, USA, Vatican, Yemen. Pre-registrations are already open on Android and first Crossout Mobile players will get an early adopter bonus. The team is also working on versions for other countries, and any release date for them will be announced later.

Gaijin Entertainment announces the release of the ‘Ground Breaking’ major Content Update for the military online action game War ThunderTerramorphing technology makes the ground battles even more realistic and offers players more tactical options. Aviation fans get the chance to try the first two aircraft from Israel, the next playable nation to be added to War Thunder. The update also brings dozens of other military vehicles and three new maps.

The terramorphing feature allows players to change the ground’s surface in real time and create cover or obstacles. Ground vehicles with self-entrenching equipment installed (i.e. the Soviet BMP-3 or the British Chieftain with dozer blade) are now capable of quickly building tank scrapes everywhere not surrounded by buildings, rocks, boulders, ice or paved roads. Air bombs weighing approximately 50kg or above, heavy rocket and missile explosions now form a crater of which diameter and depth depends on the power of the blast.

Israel, one of the leading producers and operators of military vehicles, will become the next playable nation in War Thunder. The Closed Beta Test of Israeli Air Force will start in the next major content update, but two packs with premium aircraft are available now for purchase in War Thunder. Their owners will be the first to get access to CBT. One of the packs contains a Spitfire LF Mk IXe in the livery of the personal aircraft of Ezer Weizman, a RAF veteran pilot, who later became the president of Israel! An alternative pack is available with the A-4E Skyhawk, a late Israeli modification of one of the best strike aircrafts in the game.

There are even more new toys to play with, including the light Ystervark, South African mobile anti-air unit, Cold War era destroyer USS Mitscher and three versions of fast and deadly German Wiesel armored vehicles. The Wiesel 1A4 is a basic variant with a 20mm Rheinmetall 202/20 cannon. The Wiesel 1A2 is equipped with a launcher for the TOW-2 ATGM, tandem warhead TOW-2A and TOW-2B, able to hit tanks from above. Finally, Ozelot is a version with Stinger SAM on board.

The Aral Sea map puts ground and air vehicles fighting at the shores of a dried out sea, where a port has been abandoned a long time ago with cargo terminals, fish processing plants, bulk carriers and fishing vessels. Bourbon Island is a location for air battles inspired by Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. A characteristic feature of this large and flat shaped area is the gigantic craters of volcanic origin with a wide flat bottom – calderas. Finally, the Vyborg Bay location for War Thunder coastal vessels has been created using the magnificent northern nature of the Vyborg Bay near Medyanskaya Bay. Players fight inside a dense cluster of rocky islands covered with forest – so called skerries.

The full list of changes in the update is available at the official War Thunder website: https://warthunder.com/en

One of the biggest updates in recent history has arrived in World of Tanks. Update 1.13 sees major reworking of core mechanics, such as HE shells and SPG (self-propelled gun) countermeasures, as well as other changes and additions, such as a brand-new mode, the eagerly anticipated Season 5 of Battle Pass and interface improvements.

The heaviest change that players will notice is the new capabilities they now have to combat those vehicles that rain shells from the sky. SPGs have changed a great deal since their inception in World of Tanks, and it became clear more artillery countermeasures were needed to level the playing field somewhat. With the latest update, tankers will now have 3 tactical features at their disposal: Sound Detection is a new Commander-only perk which will warn those in the danger zone that an artillery shell is incoming through a special indicator, brighter shell tracers will allow players to better gauge from where an SPG has fired and the field of fire markers will let tankers know where an SPG recently fired (this marker will appear on the minimap for 10 seconds).

However, SPGs aren’t missing out on the fun either. Artillery now have three available shell types, all with their own purpose in battle, trajectory and velocity, granting a greater variety of tactical opportunities to arty players. Two of these shell types will not stun vehicles, which will greatly reduce the overall stun time seen in battle. Additionally, the SPG ammo interface has been updated and the Intuition perk has been reworked, meaning quicker changes of shells for all vehicle types.

Update 1.13 also sees the introduction of the reworked HE (high-explosive) shell mechanics on the main server. Now, HE shells will deal damage at the point of impact, meaning that damage will be calculated at the point of contact with the armor, unlike before which was based on a shell-burst sphere. Those playing heavily armored vehicles will certainly appreciate this change, as HE shells will inflict less damage to their frontal armor from now on. Additionally, they will also now be able to penetrate screens, tracks and the wheels of wheeled vehicles as well as insignificant and/or destructible objects, like fences, for example.

And there’s still more coming with Update 1.13. A brand-new game mode, Recon Mission, will allow tankers to test maps that are in the later stages of development, a collection of Premium vehicles and Clan Wars reward tanks are being rebalanced (as well as the Minsk map), Season 5 of Battle Pass is ready to challenge players, and a selection of interface improvements have been introduced.

World of Tanks Blitz defined an entire game genre, scored 170m+ downloads worldwide, and brought players from different platforms together. Now, it has just launched its 8.0 update, giving it more life-like visuals and a new line of American heavy tanks, and has launched its 7th anniversary celebrations.

“World of Tanks Blitz has a tradition of dropping important updates and adding special activities on its anniversaries to celebrate them together with the community. This June, we treat our player base to a slew of long-developed improvements to graphics that will make the battlefield visual experience even more realistic without impacting the performance, a new U.S. tank line with a fresh mechanic, and lots of fun modes and events,” says Andrey Ryabovol, WoT Blitz Product Director.

“To express gratitude to our fans for their keen interest and valuable feedback over the years, Blitz will pay respect to their in-game achievements with seniority awards this month. Happy birthday, World of Tanks Blitz!”

With Update 8.0, Blitz graphics got much flashier, with cool new features including realistic suspension behaviour, sticky mud and snow, and vehicles getting visibly wet when taking a dip to wash off all that dirt and snow (and drying up later). Metallic surfaces got shinier, and rubber and cloth parts became more bouncy and flappy, with physically-based rendering. Five brand-new vehicles have already joined the game in the improved graphic quality and with more to come in future. All 370 tanks already existing in the game will be gradually upgraded to the new standards as well.

The new American heavy line is four Tier VII–X vehicles based on tank projects created in 1953 as part of a U.S. Army advanced research program. This shows in experimental and sometimes outlandish solutions used, like the engine placed in the turret. All the newcomers are ‘hard-headed’ with good gun depression angles and thus are good at hull-down play. They also have the new “track within a track” feature making them hard to immobilize. The Tier IX and X rides both offer a choice of two autoloader guns with clips for two or three shells. The first option comes with a larger alpha and less time between shots in the clip. The second one brings shorter clip reload time (and more DPM) together with better accuracy and armour penetration.

The birthday celebration really begins when World of Tanks Blitz invites you to Blitzland the tank themed amusement park! Visit “Shooting Gallery” (June 14–21) and “Strength-o-Meter” (June 21–28) to win the unique Tier V Pz. IV Gargoyle and Tier VII Kunze Panzer tanks. Also be ready for the return of the beloved Mad Games and Uprising modes. On June 21, the Souvenir Stall will open for a week.

Check the schedule of Blitz birthday activities on the game’s official portal: https://wotblitz.com/

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the Future Technology event for the military online action War Thunder that gives the opportunity to get new rare vehicles will continue until the 12th of April. The prizes are: the Soviet SU-76D SPG, the Japanese JDS Yūgure destroyer, the US XM8 light tank and an early version of the German F-4F fighter jet.

Future Technology is a crafting event where players participate in regular War Thunder battles to gather resources, ammunition and blueprints that are required to build a futuristic Minotaur tank. These Minotaur tanks can be exchanged for the four new rare vehicles mentioned above.

The SU-76D  was an experimental tank destroyer with a low silhouette, an inclined arrangement of armor plates and a diesel engine. It was developed by the Soviet engineers during World War II but was not used in serial production because of the difficulties with the locally produced and sufficiently powerful diesel engine.

Yūgure was originally a Fletcher class US destroyer that Japan received at the end of 1950’s and was modified and used as an anti-submarine and training vessel. Five dual 40mm Bofors cannons allow Yūgure to easily take care of any smaller vessels and aircraft.

The XM8 AGS was an experimental American light tank, developed in the early 1990’s in an effort to replace the Army’s outdated M551 Sheridan tanks but only prototypes of this machine were built. The 105 mm XM35 rifled cannon and a 550 horsepower diesel engine gives XM8 enough firepower and mobility. There is an option to install additional composite screens onto the vehicle, enhancing its protection.

The F-4F was the export version of the famous Phantom fighter jet made for the German Air Force. It’s almost as powerful as the original US variant. The pilot is free to choose from a variety of weapons: bombs up to 2,000 pounds, Mighty Mouse and Zuni rockets, 20mm Vulcan gunpods and three modifications of the deadly Sidewinder air-to-air missiles: AIM-9B FGW-2, AIM-9E and AIM-9J.

The full description of the Future Technology event is available at the official website as well in the tutorial video.

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the first major content update of the year for the military online action War Thunder will come at the beginning of March. “Ixwa Strike” update will bring a South African ground vehicle line-up, variable-sweep wing aircraft technology, as well as various new interesting models for ground, naval and air military vehicles and other content teased in the announcement video. The RSA tech branch will become a part of the existing UK tech tree and will be unlocked in parallel with British vehicles branches.

All About The RSA

RSA engineers created original and pretty good ground vehicles even before the Republic of South Africa declared independence. For example, RSA armoured cars based on a Marmon-Herrington chassis have been actively used by Great Britain, Commonwealth and other allied forces during World War II. This experience of local military vehicles development was further expanded and allowed RSA to produce locally designed vehicles or adapt imported models to the specific needs of the RSA army. Olifant Mk.1A, which was a highly upgraded version of the UK Centurion MBT featuring a new 750 hp diesel engine is a good example of the latter approach. The RSA Armed Forces prefers vehicles with high mobility, this is why the RSA branch includes many wheeled tanks and other fast machines that will provide a lot of new tactical options for the British tree players.

New Vehicles for Nations

The update will also bring dozens of vehicle models for various nations. For example, coastal fleet fans will get HMS Blackpool, a UK Type 12 class frigate built for the Royal Navy at the beginning of the Cold War. This light and fast ship boasts a huge and versatile arsenal of weaponry that includes 12 torpedo tubes, and thus can effectively fight against all types of enemies. The blue-navy fleet will get the German dreadnought SMS Kaiser, a participant of the Battle of Jutland and the Albion operation in the Baltic sea. It is equipped with ten 305mm guns and is able to focus fire from all of them on a single opponent. Chinese ground vehicles players will probably like the new modern self-propelled PT-02 assault gun. It’s lightly armoured, but has enough firepower to damage even the strongest opponents from distance.

New Aircraft Tech

Variable-sweep wing aircraft technology is a solution that allows aircraft with a high take-off weight to show good performance characteristics both at subsonic and at supersonic speeds. Higher angle makes it easier to facilitate takeoff and landing, and also gives better controllability at subsonic speeds. After reaching sonic speed, the moveable parts of the wing surfaces are moved back, contributing to the ability to gain and maintain high speeds. Developer diaries on the official War Thunder website will soon disclose the first War Thunder aircraft featuring this technology.

Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announce the release of the “Syndicate” Content Update for the post apocalyptic online action Crossout. A completely new faction called the Syndicate has arrived in the wastelands, so the players are getting new tasks, new car parts and a new PvP map “East quarter”. The Syndicate event will be available until April, 30th.

Right before the apocalypse the Syndicate leadership worked in a branch of the Pan-Asian corporation “Neon Dragon” that specializes in implants and  prosthesis production as well as AI technologies. Nowadays the Syndicate is a closed society оrganised in a strict hierarchy, its members using augmentations, smart weapons and advanced energy storage devices. In order to get access to the Syndicate tech, players complete faction tasks from the new season of the Battle Pass.

Those new car parts bring new interesting gameplay features. For example, the epic cabin “Jannabi” accumulates the energy that is generated while the armoured vehicle is drifting. It directs the excess energy into the weapon, seriously increasing its damage. The legendary “Yokozuna” cabin launches a support drone that increases the power of allied vehicles. The contact weapon “Tempura” burns right through the enemy’s vehicle parts, the autonomous drone “Yaoguai” rains fire on a huge part of the map, and “Enlightenment” tracking system cancels all enemy efforts of evading battle. Finally the new rolling-based chassis “Omni” allows players to build vehicles capable of moving any direction.

The “East quarter” is the first Syndicate-styled map in Crossout. The new faction has founded a base in the megapolis slums, restored electric power and installed neon signs and information screens on the high-rise buildings. The center of the location is crossed by a dried channel. Fast melee cars can descend there to catch their opponents by surprise and cause panic in the ranks.

The full description of the Syndicate event, new armoured vehicle parts and other changes in the game is available at the official Crossout website: https://crossout.net

World of Tanks is about to launch one hell of a holiday collaboration event, featuring a cozy little new town, tanks and Chuck Norris of all things. Here’s everything you need to know about WoT’s Holiday Ops 2021!

What’s Happening and When?

Holiday Ops 2021 lasts a month, from December 9, 2020 at 08:00 (UTC+1) through January 11, 2021 at 08:00 (UTC+1). There’s also an event extension from January 11 at 08:00 (UTC+1) until almost the end of January.

The aim of Holiday Ops is to complete all the various missions and collect as many decorations as possible. Put up your decorations to increase the Festive Atmosphere.

What Should I Do?

  • The higher the Festive Atmosphere Level, the better your rewards and bonuses in battles.
  • Complete Missions From Chuck to earn Small Boxes, an exclusive 2D style and Chuck Norris himself as a custom Commander.
  • You can also get Small Boxes by completing the standard daily missions available in the game.
  • In addition to the classic decorations, outfit your Garage with Large Decorations. Each Large Decoration will help you earn 2.5% more credits in Random Battles.
  • All the decorations you earn or get are arranged into four thematic Collections. Assembling a full Collection nets you an exclusive 2D style and a unique decal.
  • Break decorations you don’t need and put the Shards into the Decorider to get the ones your Collections lack.
  • Once you have reached Festive Atmosphere Level IV, you will be greeted by the first Snow Maiden. As your Festive Atmosphere Level increases over time, three more Snow Maidens will visit you. Click on any of them once a day to get a present containing one random decoration from their respective Collections.
  • Snow Maidens will also provide you with daily missions for x5 XP when victorious. You will receive as many x5 missions as there are Snow Maidens in your Garage.
  • You increase the Snow Maidens’ Presents Level by accepting their presents. Reaching new Presents Levels increases the minimum level of the decorations you will receive in subsequent presents.
  • Once you reach Festive Atmosphere Level X, you will be able to complete the Collections from previous years’ Holiday Ops events (2018–2020).
  • You can build your own Holiday Ops vehicles branch with up to 6 vehicles, from Tier V to Tier X. These vehicles, depending on their type, will receive special XP bonuses.
  • You will unlock an extra “Chuck’s slot” when you complete five Missions From Chuck, regardless of your current Festive Atmosphere Level.
  • Building Collections and increasing the Festive Atmosphere give you a Random Battle bonus to credits of up to 40%. Each Large Decoration gives you another 2.5% to credits earned.
  • Holiday Ops vehicles will continue to enjoy their slot bonuses from January 11 at 08:00 (UTC+1) until almost the end of January. In addition, they will receive the highest bonus to credits you achieved during the event.

There’s A New Garage

When you first open your Garage on December 9, you’ll also notice a special gift from us—the Pz.Sfl. IC, a German Tier IV Premium tank destroyer, with a 100% trained crew and a Garage slot.

This year, our holiday moved from the forest to a picturesque town in the mountains, filled with beautiful lights and magnificent installations. In fact, you won’t even be in a Garage. Instead, your fleet of vehicles will be parked in the Square! And while the Square is completely brand-new, everything should feel familiar. You can easily find the Christmas Tree, Feast, Installation, and Yard. There are also see new objects, including funny neon bears, a train with gifts rolling through the mountains, a Christmas carousel, and other signs of the festive season. The atmospheric Square should help immerse you even more into the holiday season while also lifting your spirits.
