It’s May 2019 and World of Warcraft players are anticipating Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara. The patch adds tons of new content and features to 2018’s Battle for Azeroth expansion. For returning and current players though, the one thing that needs immediate attention are addons. Addons help improve gameplay for a lot of folks that play WoW, and not having them enabled after years of use feels odd. Luckily, some of these addon developers have been working on updates since Patch 8.2 hit the PTR. Here are a few of the ones that you might one to keep an eye on in the coming week or so.
1. Deadly Boss Mods
Perhaps most of you will be relieved to know that DBM is updated and ready for use. Deadly Boss Mods is a universally loved addon by all WoW players who run dungeons, Mythics and raids. The addon calls out danger in addition to offering visual queues for fight mechanics. It’s a great tool for both the new player and the veteran.

2. World Quest List
With Patch 8.2 so close, many players will still be rushing to complete Pathfinder Part 2 to unlock flying. The 8.2 patch requires reputations to be done if you haven’t grinded them out yet, so world quests are going to be important.. So it’s a no brainer that folks leveling alts would use World Quest List. This addon lists all the available WQs on both Zandalar and Kul Tiras. Excellent for task-doers and rep hunters.

3. GTFO
Similar to Deadly Boss Mods, GTFO is the audio queue companion to DBM’s visual ques. The addon lets you select voice alerts to warn you when you’re standing in the sh**. It’s perfectly usable in 8.0 with the addon update and most can’t play without this either.
