This week, Enad Global 7 AB (publ) (EG7) acquired US-based developer Daybreak Game Company, which hosts multiple popular and well beloved MMORPG games including Everquest 1 and 2, and Standing Stone Game’s Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online.
Both studios have confirmed the new ownership, and in LOTRO’s and DDO’s case, an official post on the forum states that no impact would be had on these game’s developments, and new content is still on track in 2021.
