Lunar New Year Celebrations Arrive On Guild Wars 2
The Lunar New Year 2018 event is now live on Guild Wars 2. Players can return to Divinity’s Reach to participate in fun activities for rewards. These include the Dragon Ball mini game, envelope hunting and much more.
Doing these activities for the first time will award you with a couple of achievement points. Be sure to open as many envelopes as you can too, as cool cosmetic rewards will drop from them. Among them is the Lucky Great Dog Lantern, which is a dog back pack. The cool thing is, if you can’t find it, just make it yourself with the recipe below:
- Drop from envelopes or make it yourself. The recipe is 1 Lucky Dog Lantern, 20 Elonian Wine, 250 Essence of Luck (blue) and 25 Lucky New Year Firework
This is pretty cool as it is The Year of the Dog, if you celebrate Chinese New Year.
There’s also some pretty cool stuff to get from the Black Lion Trading Company aka the in-game store. You can pick up a new Dog harvesting tool for your garden plot, in addition to weapon skins and more. Be sure to check out this official post for all the details.
