PayPal UK Teases Start Of Steam Summer Sale Date
In a Tweet earlier today, PayPal UK states that the Steam Summer Sale will go live on Thursday, June 22nd. The much anticipated Discounts will start at approximately 1PM ET.
While there is no official confirmation of the details from Valve, PayPal is usually accurate with these. For a couple of years now, it’s almost customary for PayPal to be the bearer of good news about when these sales start. It’s almost as if the two – being PayPal and Valve – have some sort of a promotional collaboration going on.
Speaking of promotions, PayPal UK is indeed having one for this year’s sales. UK customers gets 5 GBP off any purchase that’s worth 20 GBP or more. It’s unclear if this particular promotion will extend to North America and other regions. But for folks in the UK, you have until July the 5th to make use of it.
Last year’s sales were phenomenal for picking up titles from 2015. We even got Doom at 15% off, which is sweet considering it is a 2016 game. So it’ll be very interesting to see which games make the discount list this year. And of course, prepare for your backlog to grow yet again. Happy hunting to all.
