Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Extraction’s first post-launch Crisis Event, Spillover, is available today. Crisis Events are major, limited time events where players face unique large-scale threats in the Containment Zone.
 
As Sprawl Colonies spread across the hot zones, players must use the new Dissolution Agent canisters to draw out waves of enemies and wipe out colonies of the alien Sprawl. To face off against the hordes of Archaeans descending upon them, a strategic and defensive approach is crucial to survival. All players who login during Spillover will have a chance to earn the exclusive new REACT tech: the Auto-Turret, a deployable turret that automatically targets and attacks Archaeans.
 
Alongside Spillover, Zofia arrives today in Extraction. A beloved Rainbow Six Operator, Zofia is known for her highly skilled survival techniques and will be a crucial asset to the Rainbow Six Extraction roster both in Spillover and main game. By equipping additional defense REACT tech to Zofia’s Grenade Launcher, players can increase their chances for a successful incursion.
 
Spillover is the first of many Crisis Events and updates to come to Rainbow Six Extraction. Players can jump in now with their squad via Game Pass on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and Windows PC, as well as on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.

Ubisoft announced at E3 that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has surpassed 35 Million Registered Players across all platforms. Released in 2015, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has become one of the most successful multiplayer shooter and continues to evolve in Year 3 with regular content updates as recent as last week’s Operation Para Bellum, the largest content update to date.

In celebration of the growing Rainbow Six Siege community, Ubisoft will be releasing “Another Mindset,” a documentary that explores the stories of some the community’s most famous and dedicated players, and how Rainbow Six Siege has impacted their lives. The narrative focuses on each of their personal stories, exploring why they sought more than entertainment in the game and how they became respected members of the community. Throughout their journey, their paths will intertwine, leading to upsets, personal questioning, and moments of joy and pride. “Another Mindset” will hold its world premiere in August 2018 at the first annual Six Major esports competition in Paris, France, beginning on August 17. Year 3 of Rainbow Six Siege continues to break records with player count and game content upgrades. The latest, Season Two’s Operation Para Bellum now live last week introduced two new defending operators, Alibi and Maestro bringing our roster to 40, alongside an all new map, Villa, set in the Italian countryside. Operation Para Bellum also introduced major game updates such as, a new intel gadget, operator speed adjustments, deployable bulletproof cameras, a new counter defuser animation, and an all-new Pick & Ban setting, to name just a few.
