ICYMI: Revelation Online Is Merging Servers Due To Player Migration
In case you missed it due to all the E3 buzz going on, Revelation Online have announced that they will be merging servers. The merge is to compensate the English player base once the launch of the French and German servers go live in July.
The free to play MMORPG currently has a decent amount of servers but French and German players are forced to play on English servers. Therefore, the launch of the French and German specific servers will undoubtedly see them flock over to there. The upcoming merges then are to compensate for the loss of players in the ENG servers. There is nothing negative about this server merge – it’s a positive step taken by My.com.
The servers that will be merged are as follows:
- EU: Corral will merge with Moonsea
- EU: Eventide with Tidewater
- NA: Muroc with Darkfall
- NA: Tusenwood with Snowpine
If anything, the server merges will actually help the existing player base as new communities will fall into place. There will also be a brand new server for NA, the Divine Overlook. This new server aims to give old and new players alike a chance for a fresh start.
