World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Announces Update 9.2 Eternity’s End

Blizzard has announced the next big patch coming to retail World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The update is titled Patch 9.2 Eternity’s End.

After reclaiming the essence of the Arbiter as his own, the Jailer now holds the key to forging a new reality where all souls kneel in his service. Azeroth’s heroes must pursue the Jailer into the mythic realm of Zereth Mortis, the ancient crucible where the mysterious First Ones forged the afterlives of the Shadowlands. There, they will confront primal Progenitor creations and the Jailer’s most powerful lieutenants; unlock the secret origins of the infinite realms of Death; and make a final stand to determine whether the will of the Jailer—or the resolve of the covenants—will shape the future of all creation.

Eternity’s End is the climactic final chapter of the Shadowlands saga, filled with content and features that will send Azeroth’s heroes on a journey into some of the Warcraft universe’s greatest mysteries:

EXPLORE THE AFTERLIVES’ ORIGINS – Discover the genesis of the Shadowlands in Zereth Mortis, an all-new zone where the long-absent First Ones first set the machine of Death into motion. Journey through a realm where no mortal soul has set foot before, filled with ethereal ecosystems, prototypical monstrosities, and enigmatic automa.

DECODE THE CYPHER OF THE FIRST ONES – Team up with a curious automa sidekick to learn the lost language of the Progenitors and delve deeper into the secrets of Zereth Mortis, unlocking an array of new zone activities, daily quests, events, and rewards.

CONFRONT ANDUIN AND THE JAILER IN THE SEPULCHER OF THE FIRST ONES – Breach the vault containing the Progenitors’ most ancient and powerful creations. World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands Expansion Will Launch On November 23rd

Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands expansion will launch officially next month on the 23rd of November. Shadowlands which was originally supposed to launch this October, was delayed due to several reasons – the main concern revolving around beta feedback and improvements required at major expansion features like Covenants, leveling experience and the raid.

Safe to say, these concerns that caused the delay has been addressed in the month that went by, and according to the post, the developers are happy with the current state of Shadowlands. Improvements have indeed been applied to Covenenants, the Maw and rewards for both, and let’s hope for a smooth launch.

Besides that, the studio also confirmed that there will be the pre-expansion event, the second coming of the Scourge, which goes live on the 10th of November. As for the first Shadowlands raid, you can start preparing for it soon because Castle Nathria launches on December 8th. Check out global launch times here.

World of Warcraft Releases Shadowlands Pre-Patch Survival Guide Video

Blizzard may have delayed the much awaited Shadowlands expansion to later in 2020, but the pre-patch is coming on October 13th as announced last week. Yesterday, the game released its pre-patch survival guide video, highlighting the many changes and tweaks coming to World of Warcraft, much of which lays the foundations for the Shadowlands expansion.

These massive changes include barbershop option that allows you to change gender, the level squish which puts current 120 players down to 50, and a brand new starter zone of Exile’s Reach, offering new players a fresh look into the modern-day World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft To Debut Shadowlands Animated Series This Week

As World of Warcraft players prepare for their journey into the Shadowlands, a new four-part animated series, Afterlives, offers a look into the covenants that hold dominion over the expansion’s new zones.

Tune into the gamescom Opening Night Live stream, which kicks off at 11:00 a.m. PDT on Aug. 27, to catch the first part of this brand-new animated series.

Fans of the Warbringers and Harbingers animations that preceded Battle for Azeroth and Legion respectively, can get a taste of what’s to come with a preview trailer now available on the World of Warcraft YouTube channel.
