Upcoming features for Conan Exiles.

Conan Exiles entered Steam Early Access this week and the developer has released a blog post detailing theupcoming changes for Conan Exiles.

While in Early Access, the developer will be addressing the various bugs and issues that arise. In addition to this, the developer is planning to introduce a large number of features.

The team released a blog post on Monday detailing some of the new features that will be coming to the game.

Trebuchet

The first upcoming addition is the Trebuchet siege weapon. Players will be able to use this weapon to destroy enemy base defenses or to destroy their defensive walls surrounding the base.

The weapon is very strong, as confirmed, but also very vulnerable. It’s costly to build and difficult to transport while also opening the door to enemy attacks.

Dyeing System

It’s been confirmed that players will be able to dye their clothes and armor in a later update. This will be done by collecting the colors from different resources before crafting them into dyes.

Each item of clothing in the game can be dyed multiple times to create unique pieces of clothing that stand out. The blog post suggested that this will be important for clans as it will allow clans to dye their clothes with a unique color pattern.

Thrall animations

While players can already capture thralls and put them to work, the developers are looking to enhance the system. Thralls will be getting animations to suit their jobs at a later point. These animations will allow the player to see the thralls as they work at their different stations.

Other additions

The developer has also confirmed that more types of thralls will be coming to the game. Fancom haven’t revealed the exact details yet but this will also come alongside a more balanced crafting system.

Players can expect to see more content coming to the game in the future. In addition to more creatures, story elements, traps and craftable items.
