Season Four also brings a host of new vehicles and quality of life improvements to Armored Warfare! Players can add an explosive selection of new high-level vehicles to their hangar, from the M113 armed with its famous Hellfire missiles, to a M48 GAU-8 equipped with a rotating multi-barrel cannon that can deliver up to 4200 rounds per minute. The extra firepower should help the resistance forces stand a fighting chance against one of their deadliest and most nefarious opponents yet.

There’s also a new operation. With Europe nearly lost to the technological and military clout of the mysterious new ‘Enigma’ organization, which made itself known during the ill-fated Moscow summit, the resistance forces head to American soil for help. Players take on the role of resistance fighter Douglas O’Reilly as he fights back against the evil of Enigma, and discovers the truth behind their origins.

Black Desert Online just announced the arrival of The Assassin of Darkness on the Southeast Asia server, which will get another channel added to it this week in order to accommodate the large influx of players on the server. The arrival of Ninja marks the eighth playable character in Black Desert Online SEA. Ninjas employ a variety of high mobility skills to take down opponents, striking from the shadows so the enemies never know what hit them.

The Ninja is a fast paced melee class that uses stealth in combat to truly earn their name as the assassin of darkness. If Ninja gets the opponent where he wants them, he can employ a vast range of combat control skills to keep them there. Ninjas use stuns and debuffs to hinder their enemies and deal annihilating damage with skills in rapid succession. This class will definitely be a game changer.

Also, they announced that they will be holding a Global Costume Design Contest where Adventurers from around the world can submit their designs for everyone to see.  If you think you have what it takes to create the hottest new costume in Black Desert, then you should definitely give it a shot. Obsidian Entertainment are no longer developing Armored Warfare alongside  Russian studio My.com.

In a statement released earlier this week, Obsidian released the news and shed some light on the situation. There are hints of conflicts of interests between the two entities.

Armored Warfare is an MMO PVP game that will involve tanks blowing each other up. Apparently, My.com wanted to make it a World of Tanks clone. Obsidian however, didn’t feel that was best for the game.

In the wake of the split, the American studio has laid off several developers. It remains to be seen if the studio has taken a hit in terms of manpower and financials. They are however assuring the public that the current games in development are unaffected.

Obsidian Entertainment are responsible for Pillars of Eternity, an isometric RPG masterpiece. They are currently working on the sequel which is being launched on Kickstarter for funds.

I honestly believe that the handover is a good move for both sides. My.com has the expertise of the war game market and the genre will suit them well. OE on the other hand should focus on what they do best, which is the RPG games.

Besides, there is just no way that any tank game could compete with World of Tanks, who have been dominating the market for many years. As for Armored Warfare, I have high hopes that it will succeed. While I do enjoy World of Tanks, a little competition would be good for both developers and players.
