En Masse Entertainment is pleased to announce that Corsairs’ Stronghold, a new PvP Battleground for Level 65 players, arrives today for TERA players on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. The new update are part of the month of May celebrations, which marks the game’s 6th anniversary.

In Corsairs’ Stronghold, two teams of 20 players will alternate between attacking and defending the stronghold. As the attacking team, utilize airships, tanks, or battle on foot to fight your way to the heart of the keep and destroy the crystal inside. On defense, do everything in your power to prevent the oncoming siege!

To celebrate the release of this exciting new battleground, all TERA players will receive a free Pirate Eyepatch to their in-game parcel post when they log in before May 15!

En Masse Entertainment revealed today the schedule of content and activities coming in May to TERA. Following its strong launch on April 3 for both Xbox One and PlayStation®4, En Masse has created a dynamic lineup of updates that will keep the momentum going with something new for players to experience every week in the month of May.

Take turns attacking and defending Corsairs’ Stronghold in intense 20 versus 20 action!

Throughout the month, players can expect new content and updates to appear on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One on a weekly basis starting off on May 5 with the game’s first Item Pass Delivery and a new five-player dungeon set for level 65 characters. The following week, players will be able to test their PvP skills with a new level-65 battleground called Corsairs’ Stronghold, where two teams of 20 players will alternate between protecting the keep and attacking it in a best-of-three siege mode.

The community team will be hosting events both in and out of game throughout the anniversary month, including new screenshot and loading screen art contests for creative TERA fans. En Masse staff will be in-game throughout the world during weekdays, excluding Monday May 28, handing out anniversary scarves to players who find them politely request one. The team will be posting weekly updates detailing which servers and times they will be in-game handing the scarves out, so players are encouraged to keep their eyes on the TERA homepage for their shot at the free limited time goodie!

The Ruinous Manor update will truly test the most hardcore TERA veterans featuring a new max level dungeon and precious treasures including rare set items, unique magic imbuing dyads, and high-level crafting materials.

En Masse Entertainment today released details for the next free content update for their flagship True Action Combat MMORPG on PC, TERA. Releasing on April 17, the Godsfall update is set to be one of the most significant updates of the year, introducing powerful brand-new active and passive abilities for seven of TERA’s classes – Berserker, Brawler, Lancer, Warrior, Mystic, Priest and Slayer – that introduce unique ways to play existing classes and deepen their connection to their class roles.

Nothing lasts forever in the world of TERA, not even its mighty gods. The Godsfall update introduces a time-traveling story quest, available to level 65 characters of the seven chosen classes with an item level of 439 or higher, taking players back through time to defeat the powerful dragon Khemadia. Players will find themselves facing their own personal demons as they progress through the quests, including their Temper, Self-Doubt, and Guilt in this god-killing, time-traveling mission.

With each personal demon vanquished players will unlock a new “Apex” active or passive skill for their character, expanding their toolkit and enhancing existing abilities with new properties. Examples of a few of the powerful new abilities that classes will be able to unlock can be found below –

• Lancer – Guardian Barrier: Open a moveable defensive wall in front of your character that reflects melee attacks and pushes nearby enemies away, while protecting allies.
• Mystic – Arunic Release: Detonate motes a large areas in front of your character, dealing damage to enemies and providing allies in the affected area with healing regeneration.
• Warrior – Blade Frenzy: Briefly disappear into the shadows, leaving an afterimage to confuse enemies, before emerging in a raging whirlwind of blades.

More classes in TERA are set to receive their own “Apex” abilities later this year in a future update.
