The Archosaur team has created a series of memorable events honoring the story Dragon Raja and all players have built together over the last two years, with plenty of rewards on offer just for logging in. Along with the 2nd anniversary limited Rosy Milk motor, players will also receive avatars, advanced gems, Gold Dragonblood Skills, and materials. Each event offers massive rewards as well. Players can also choose to make a wish to the Wish Giftbox, try their luck in the Sakura Windchime, or collect fragments for the Mirror of Dreams. 

For the first time, fan artwork is being added as backdrops to Dragon Raja’s loading page, and the three most popular cosplay creations will be drawn as avatars and sent to all players as anniversary gifts. The Dragon Raja website now also has a broad collection of fan art paintings, cosplay and players’ messages.

Dragon Raja’s densely packed open world instantly endeared it to players around the globe, and it’s grown ever since. From getting married and throwing a party, to standing in the street to cause a traffic jam, Dragon Raja lets players live and explore their ideal fantasy life – and there’s even more on the way. 2022 has already seen exciting new additions such as the fishing contest and a robust gardening system, and the team plans to add more classes and activities later this year.

Lineage M

Considered the darling of NCSOFT’s mobile MMOs, Lineage M is a medieval fantasy MMORPG that packs a punch. Pretty much everything you expect in a mobile Lineage MMORPG is delivered on a silver platter. Diverse class selections, social party play, big monster to slay and of course, let’s not forget the massive raid bosses. Lineage M was a huge commercial success in its native country South Korea, which later saw the app expand into the West.

Arcane Legends

If classic is more to your taste, than perhaps Arcane Legends might do the trick. The game has had a long run on the app stores and is still going strong today. As a free download, Arcane Legends offers three starting classes, and its draw is the fun skills and combat system with its co-op play. The PvP modes are odd due to the wonky match-making, but fun and fair enough to give it a pass. More importantly, the game continues pumping out more content despite its age, but that doesn’t mean the quality has gotten better, if anything, its slightly repetitive these days. However, it’s still a great game and highly recommended for an old school MMORPG on mobiles.

Old School RuneScape

You knew this was going to be on any top mobile MMORPG list. You can’t go wrong with Old School RuneScape. The game is now considered a cult-hit among gamers, and now a younger generation can experience this vast open world with limitless adventure possibilities on the go. As a freemium game, much of what it offers is still enjoyable for free. This includes the plethora of decent quests, group content, dungeons and more. It’s other draw is that it is cross platform, so the adventure never has to end.

Bit Heroes

For something more modern and unique, Bit Heroes is a must. It’s a free to play pixelated MMORPG that features a large explorable world with probably the easiest control scheme ever. Players collect and craft thousands of pieces of loot to increase your power. Progression tracks how you build your team by capturing monsters and bosses to fight at your side in old school, turn-based combat. There’s tons to do from dungeoneering to fishing, and it’s also available on Steam (PC) should you wish to carry on your adventures.

Dragon Raja

Dragon Raja is unreal – like it’s amazing that this game is even a mobile MMORPG instead of being one on PC. Dragon Raja features gorgeous character art and graphics, a stylistic cyberpunk world, open world gameplay, action combat and much much more. While it does have questing and main story content, you can also play basketball, race cars, go on dates and even cook for your own restaurant. How cool is that?

Once players reach level 70, they can unlock the highest Talent tier known as Tier S, but there’s a catch – you’ll need to complete a few objectives before unlocking it. Here’s a quick guide to the easiest way, which is defeating the Funfair World Boss. However, keep in mind you have other objectives to complete if you haven’t already:

Objective 1: Evolve any Motor to Rank A

Objective 2: Defeat Shadow Spider Onimaru World Boss or Complete Doom Challenge IV dungeon

In this article we’ll focus solely on the Spider Boss Onimaru as it can be difficult to track down.

Step 1: Find out the server time of the World Boss Spawn

Onimaru Spider Boss spawns twice a day, and all players at level 70 will get a flash notification running across the screen five minutes prior to its arrival. The easiest way to track what time this event happens is to head to your Activities -> Challenge -> World Events, and look for the timer there. It should be titled Ghostly Riot, labeled as a level 80 event.

Once you know you’ve locked down the time, simply open the world map and head to the Funfair zone (Japan mainland, top of the screen) and wait for the event to start.

Step 2: Rescue Civilians in Pre-event

Before the Spider shows up, there will be a brief precursor event in which players will need to spread out and save 12 civilians before they are killed by demons. For everyone one you save, you will get bonus rewards.

While it isn’t necessary to complete to unlock your S tier talent, it’s still needed before the boss spawns so why not. Just note that due to player level and skill, the mobs die quickly so make sure you get there early if you want contribution points.

Step 3: Kill Onimaru

Onimaru Spawns as soon as the Civilian event ends. The fight takes place in the circular stage at the very top of the map, so that’s where you’ll need to head to. If you aren’t geared, staying within melee range of the spider is deadly, as it can one-shot players with its pounce ability. You’ll want to keep mobile and look out for its attack cues.

Once its dead and you’ve at least evolved a Motor to Rank A which is easiest to do, you’ll immediately get the notification from EVA saying that you’ve passed the test and can now access your S ranked talents.
