Grand Fantasia’s Patch 35: Ultimate Force includes:

• Unlimited Power!: Once players reach level 100, they’ll unlock a new Specialization Skill Type. Players that invest a specified amount of specialization points can upgrade the level of specialization skills and gain their full potential. 
• Mid-Autumn Festival – The Demon Tree: A tree demon suddenly crash lands onto Saphael looking for revenge after experiencing tens of thousands of years’ worth of pain. It’s up to players to stop him from destroying everything. Doing so will earn players a handsome reward in addition to saving the world. 
• Mid-Autumn Festival Event: Players will need to complete several quests in order to earn a fortune bag that may contain a new head costume. 
• Quality of Life: Several updates have been implemented in Grand Fantasia that helps streamline players’ experience. For example, new ways to obtain a Quill Crystal in The Old Siwa Island, hyperlinks to help give others coordinates to locate and NPC or monster more easily, an update to the “recruit teammates” interface, and more

Highlights of the debut showcase include details about two new games in the popular and acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei RPG series – a high-definition remake of Shin Megami Tensei III, a beloved classic in the series, coming Spring 2021, and a new game in the main numbered series, Shin Megami Tensei V, which will have a simultaneous global launch on Nintendo Switch in 2021. Cadence of Hyrule DLCS

• Cadence of Hyrule Season Pass: Three paid DLC packs are coming to the Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda game, with the first pack launching later today!
  • Pack 1: Character Pack – In the first pack, five additional characters join the game’s ensemble, including Impa, who excels in ranged attacks with the Naginata weapon, and Aria, perfect for players who like a challenge. It’s game over if you take one hit or miss a beat with her.
  • Pack 2: Melody Pack – After purchasing this pack, 39 songs will be added to the game, including remixed versions of the game’s background music. Players can change the background music at any time so they can listen to their favorite songs while journeying through Hyrule.
  • Pack 3: Additional Story Content – Symphony of the Mask – Play as the mysterious Skull Kid and venture through a new map in the third DLC pack, complete with new songs and a new story. Skull Kid also possesses the power to change abilities based on the masks he dons.

DLC Pack 1 will be available to purchase later today for $5.99. The second DLC pack will be released before the end of October for $5.99. The third DLC pack will also be released before the end of October, and will be available for $9.99. A Season Pass containing all three DLC packs as they release will be available to purchase starting today for $14.99. People who purchase the Season Pass will also receive bonus costumes for Link and Zelda. A physical version of the game that contains the main game and all three DLC packs will launch on Oct. 23 for $39.99.

Rogue Company

Shin Megami Tensei V

Shin Megami Tensei V: The next numbered entry in ATLUS’ beloved Shin Megami Tensei series is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch. In this epic role-playing game, order itself has crumbled and chaos reigns over all. Shin Megami Tensei V will have a simultaneous global launch on Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Many were worried that the game will be regional exclusive to Japan, but we are now learning that this isn’t the case. Additionally, Blue Protocol will also be free to play at launch, which is causing a stir among global MMORPG enthusiasts. Free to play titles are often disliked due to the implementation of optional microtransactions in the cash store that may contain advantageous items in the pay to win category. However in Blue Protocol’s case, we simply do not know if this will happen as the game hasn’t event been pushed into a playable test state yet.

Speaking of which, this month some 50,000 Japanese players will be the first few lucky folk that gets to play the MMORPG, as Blue Protocol will conduct a 4-day Japanese closed beta test. Since there will be no NDA, expect plenty of gameplay videos on YouTube and elsewhere.

Seth Leveling Event

• Players who reach level 67 by 10:00 p.m. PDT on September 23 with a Seth character will be awarded 500 EMP.

Seth Leveling Rewards

• From September 10 until October 8, leveling Seth comes with bonus support rewards.
• After completing the tutorial, Seth receives special leveling supplies until she reaches level 85. (This applies to only one Seth character per account.)
  • Although currently Seth can only level up to 83, her level 85 box will become available with the Special Agent update when her level cap is increased to 85.

I have yet to watch Elsword but I think this game is worth looking into even if you’re like me and haven’t watched the show. Whether you’re an Elsword fan or not, Elsword Online is a fun sidescrolling MMORPG and definitely worth playing.

What Is It Exactly?

In Closers, players become an elite agent of UNION, an organization dedicated to dealing with the threat of interdimensional aliens spilling through a series of mysterious portals that have appeared throughout New Seoul. At launch, players can choose one of five playable members of the Black Lambs team: Seha, a reluctant combat genius; Sylvi, the dedicated leader; Yuri, the skilled martial artist who only recently discovered her powers; Misteltein, a prodigious young boy with amazing support skills; or J, the grizzled veteran with a troubled past. Each character’s unique personality and combat style allows players to chart their own path through a complex, branching narrative, upgrading their skills and weapons along the way, and unlocking amazing new powers in a quest to vanquish a gargantuan interdimensional threat.

Starting on November 7 running through Tuesday, December 5, En Masse is hosting an assortment of in-game events for all Closers closed beta test participants. Simply logging in each day rewards players with a variety of increasingly valuable items, culminating in a permanent Lucky Chick Pet Egg. Beginning Saturday, November 11, logging in during weekends provides players with useful consumable items at regular intervals for the first two hours of their playtime each day. Players who clear dungeons worth more than 10 Fatigue Points throughout the beta will be rewarded with CBT Gift Tokens for their efforts. These tokens can be spent on pieces of the full Gifted Cadet Uniform in-game. The final CBT in-game event remains active through Tuesday, December 19, and rewards players with valuable in-game bundles every 10 levels (starting at level 30 and ending at level 60).
