The Resident Evil event will be available for two weeks to all Warlords of New York owners who have completed the New York campaign. Rewards and progress are automatically enabled at the start of the event.

Keys for Event Caches can be earned by gaining SHD levels in game or by Premium Credit purchase. You can also gift Apparel keys to fellow Agents in your clan or on your friends list!

Remember, Event Caches do not contain duplicates and any items you’re missing can be viewed in the Apparel menu in-game.

PHASES

Here is a detailed breakdown and availability timeline for the event:

• Event Live — February 2nd to February 15th. During this period, event keys can be regularly earned or purchased from the sources listed above.
• Event Closing — February 16th to February 22nd. If you have any leftover keys, be sure to make use of them during this period.

The Division 2 Warlords of New York: Season 2
On 23^rd June the second season of progressive endgame content will be available. Seasons are part of the Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion and are a series of 3-month long narrative-driven mini campaigns. In Season 2 – Keener’s Legacy, Division Agents are tasked to take on a new rogue cell and stop them from continuing the plan left by Aaron Keener. Players must own The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion in order to participate in Seasons.
 
Much like Season 1, Season 2 will give players the chance to unlock unique rewards, including two new exotics, a skill variant and a gearset. Players with the Warlords of New York expansion can play Season 2 for free and can purchase a Season 2 Pass to earn additional rewards for their progression. The Pass also offers more opportunities to unlock Season specific gear and exclusive vanity items such as a unique Season outfit. Players have until 15^th June to complete Season 1 before Season 2 kicks off on 23^rd June.
 
Other in-game activities will continue in Season 2 as well, including:
 

• Leagues: A series of challenges for players, with opportunities to unlock rewards based on players’ ability to complete challenges
• Global Events: Time-limited in-game events during which a global modifier is applied to the entire game and players will be rewarded for completing specific tasks

 
During each Season, players will grow their Season level to unlock various rewards by participating in seasonal activities and playing the game.

Operation Iron Horse
In the Second Raid players will face a new challenge that teams of eight must work together to overcome. Additionally, exclusive rewards will be available for both Level 30 and Level 40 players as they tackle the most challenging mission in the game thus far. The release date of Second Raid will be revealed in the near future.
 
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is available on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation^®4 computer entertainment system, Windows PC, UPLAY+, Ubisoft’s subscription service, and the new generation gaming platform, Stadia.

Majority of Major MMOs

When the pandemic really started to ramp up in the West, almost all major MMO studios enacted its work from home policy. This allowed developers to work remotely from the safety of their own homes, and many have publicly stated that updates to their games will be somewhat slower due to the challenge of coordinating development remotely. Ashes of Creation, the upcoming MMORPG by Intrepid Studios, were the first to announce that it had moved its entire operation remotely in the West. In the East where the pandemic first broke, the same happened with major South Korean and Chinese MMO studios.

New World by Amazon

Unfortunately, the biggest scalp so far is Amazon’s New World MMO. Initially scheduled to release in May 2020, Amazon has now delayed the launch of this highly anticipated title to August 2020 instead, with the open beta scheduled for July.

Despite many the disappointment, this is expected as it is a brand new game launch, and to iron out bugs and prepare for a live service remotely is a huge task, even for a studio as a big as Amazon.

The Division 2

The work from home policy also didn’t do much favors to Massive Entertainment and its cover-based shooter The Division 2. While the game managed to launch its first expansion successfully last month, the following three weeks were plagued by bugs and that was the cause for concern.

One exploit in particular – the DPS glitch – made it to three different iterations, with Massive holding emergency maintenance almost daily to attempt to fix it, causing inconvenience to everyone else who was stuck at home and wanting to play.

What Is Exotic Reconfiguration

The ability to reconfigure an exotic will do 2 things:

1. The Exotic selected will be brought up to the level of your crafting bench, up to level 40.
2. The attributes of the Exotic you reconfigure, will get new stat values assigned which are appropriate for the Exotic’s level. The overall new power of a reconfigured Exotic will be at a guaranteed minimum and can go all the way up to a god-rolled item.

Reconfiguring an Exotic that is already at your current level will skip the first step, and immediately re-roll its status and attributes. It can be risky to reconfigure an already powerful Exotic, as each individual attribute bar and the overall power of the item will be re-rolled. Everything between a god-roll and a weaker overall roll is possible, but it will always be above the guaranteed minimum.

Exotic Blueprints

Reconfigure Blueprints will become available for all Exotics in the game, including the Exotics introduced in the Warlords of New York expansion. As soon as you own a specific Exotic, you can purchase the Reconfigure Blueprint from the crafting Vendor, Inaya. Existing upgrade blueprints you already owned prior to TU9 will be converted into Reconfigure Blueprints automatically and will be available in the Reconfigure section of your crafting bench.

How Much Will It Cost To Reconfigure Exotics

Reconfiguring an Exotic will cost 1 Exotic Component, in addition to the generic crafting materials required for that particular Exotic. Deconstructing an Exotic will now yield 1 Exotic Component, down from 2 prior to TU9. Therefore if you’re reading this before the new update and don’t have Exotic Components at max stacks, start deconstructing your spare Exotics now as they still give you 2. And remember, if you’re not getting any Exotic Components, that’s because you’re already at at the max stacks.

But since Exotics are very rare and they are also excluded from recalibration there is currently nothing you can do to them if you get a bad roll. That is why the Exotic Reconfiguration will be added to the game with TU9.

With TU9 they also changed the system that Exotics will drop at least with the minimum-roll of each content Tier. So when you play Challenging Difficulty, you will get better minimum-rolls in comparison to normal or hard difficulty. Therefore moving forward, players can Reconfigure Exotics to reroll stats randomly for the cost of an Exotic component, but do note that this is down to RNG, and there’s a possibility of getting a worst outcome.

Hyena Members Disorientated

This is one of the two challenge tasks that can be done in open world or in missions on any difficulty. You’ll need to disorientate 200 Hyenas in total to earn 10 ranks, and it’s the easiest of the lot to complete. How to disorientate hyenas in Division 2? Simple.

Firstly, you’ll want to have the Gunner specialization unlocked. Simply grab the Banshee pulse skill perk and equip it for the duration of your gameplay session. The skill is easy to use and creates a cone and Hyena enemies caught within it will be disorientated, counting toward the league objective. The best tip to complete this task fast is to use this in areas where the fight space is small, so somewhere like Bank HQ mission will be excellent for this considering its full of hyena enemies too.

If you don’t have the Gunner specialization, unfortunately there isn’t another skill or efficient way to do this. You can however, shoot the weakpoint of hyena rushers which will disorientate them and any other mobs that’s close in proximity.

Hyena Bounties

This one is pretty straightforward, you’ll want to complete 40 hyena bounties in Division 2 to earn 10 ranks. There can be some complications to this, as some players will not have any hyena bounties on the map. There’s a trick to spawn them though.

The Venus manhunt which takes place in the Northeast of DC are a mix of Cleaners and Hyena factions, so you can reset the manhunt anytime you want and that should give you 3 Hyena bounties to complete. Once done, simply reset the manhunt again and farm them.

Another good way which takes a little longer is to complete Public Execution activities in hyena controlled areas. The rescued civilians will drop Hyena bounties which also count toward your league progress.

Mission Time Trials

The four mission time trials are very straightforward. Complete Grand Washington Hotel, District Union Arena and Jefferson Trade Center on Challenging difficulty, while DARPA Labs must be done on Heroic difficulty. All the Challenging ones will be easier to do than DARPA, which is arguably one of the worst missions in Division 2 right now.

The best tips for running these missions fast is to obviously go DPS, don’t stop for loot and just power through it asap.

Can I Still Get The Exotic Cache Without Doing DARPA Heroic?

Yes. The way Leagues work is that next week, all the challenges and ranks will be earn-able again, but it will save your overall League rank. So you can hit rank 10 for 5 out of the 6 challenges this week, and hit them again next week. So don’t worry about not being able to farm stuff out in the next 7 days, there will be plenty of time to get that exotic cache and the backpack item.

The Basics

The build uses a 4 piece hard-wired set gear items for the Feedback loop effect, it has the Acostas go-bag exotic for the overcharged talent, plus the additional stuff doesn’t hurt. And the final gear slot can be anything you want really, to further optimize what you’re trying to do. So for skills obviously you want the sniper turret, and I pair it with the healing hive placed right next to it for best effect.For weapons, look you’ll be hitting like a wet tissue paper cause all your attributes are into skill tier and not much else, so really just equip whatever guns are you favorites to use. I’d recommend a nice rifle which helps with the sniper turret aim and for headshots, and use a shotgun for those elites that rush you.  Its not the best solo turret build out there but hey it works, and not hard to get.

Get Fiery with the Firewall

Probably the biggest attraction in this Episode besides the story, is the new specialization known as the Firewall. The Firewall specialization will bring the most recent signature weapon in the SHD arsenal – the K8-JetStream flamethrower. Firewall is a specialization for the close quarter specialist that likes to get up close and personal with their enemies. If you don’t own the Year 1 Pass, the Firewall specialization can be unlocked through Special Field Research.

A New Badass Exotic Assault Rifle

The Chameleon exotic assault rifle will also become available in Episode 3, and we are keen to see what new builds it will spark.

• Assault Rifle
• Talent: Adaptive Instincts
  • Hitting 30 headshots grants +20% critical hit chance and +50% critical hit damage for 45s.
  • Hitting 60 body shots grants +100% weapon damage for 45s.
  • Hitting 30 leg shots grants +150% reload speed for 45s.
• Talent: Overlap
  • While holstered, gain +5% weapon handling
• Changes color based on the environment.

So you’re probably guessing how to get the Chamelon Exotic Assault Rifle in Division 2 right? Fret not. It’s a drop from the world, so be sure to kill things and use the designated loot system and map to grind away.

New Story and Missions: Coney Island

With all the excitement about the Warlords of New York expansion coming next month, now’s a good time to dive into the Division 2’s story, because it’s a tie in which leads nicely into the expansion. Two missions take you to New York. Once you’ve established a foothold in Coney Island, you will head toward the nearby baseball stadium. Our intelligence points that this is where the Black Tusk is holding virologist Vitaly Tchernenko and our mission is to attempt to rescue him from their clutches. We believe Tchernenko to be key in our search for a cure for the Green Poison and his rescue is of the utmost importance.

Fixated on eradicating all traces of the virus, the Cleaners have been sighted at the Coney Island Amusement Park. Here you will have the opportunity to fight fire with fire with the new specialization coming with Episode 3: The Firewall. Be sure to take every precaution when fighting against these Cleaners, Agents. Their cleansing fire takes no prisoners.

Equipped with the K8-JetStream Flamethrower Signature Weapon, the Firewall specialization is great for those who like to get up close and personal. The Flamethrower ensures that you can take on enemies up close by firing an arc of flame dealing fire damage and applying the burn effect to enemies caught in its radius.

The Firewall Specialization also pairs up with a Striker Shield skill mod, allowing you to use some weapons, including the Flamethrower, when equipped. The Striker Shield will ensure you are buffed for increased damage, but also extends those buffs to allies taking cover behind you.

As with each specialization beforehand, the Firewall comes with a new Specialization tree and a new sidearm, the Firestarter sawed-off shotgun!

During the event, ome of Washington D.C.’s most elusive enemies have taken to wearing a bright red Santa Hat, and are taunting you about it! Taking these enemies down will drop a new, exclusive weapon that shoots snowballs. This makes a great addition to all the exotics in your arsenal, should you feel the urge to break out some fun.

As part of this in-game holiday event, all players logging-in to the game between 10^th December and 7^th January will get their own Santa Hat to celebrate the holiday season.

Also included in TU 6.1 is The Silent Night apparel event, bringing with it a dark winter theme. The Silent Night Apparel Cache features 35 new apparel items to collect. All players who log into The Division 2 during the event will receive one free key, with Year One Pass holders earning an additional three keys as a bonus.

Starting with the Silent Night apparel event players will now also have the option to purchase Apparel Event caches with Premium Credits and directly send them as gifts to friends and clan members.

In addition, a beta version of the new Hardcore Mode will be part of Title Update 6.1.  In this new mode, death is permanent, making the entire The Division 2 campaign the ultimate challenge for Agents. Since there is no chance to respawn, Division Agents must be tactical and careful to see how far they can get.
