Ara takes on a new path, utilizes Spiritual Power to make it difficult for her enemies to cause any harm, while buffing her allies. Using her skills, Ara is able to Freeze her opponents, reduce their elemental resistances, or buff her allies Magical Attack Power and Damage Reduction stats, or provide them healing over time or even Super Armor. Combined with her support capabilities, Ara’s 4^th path will be a force to be reckoned with!
 
Ara’s 4^th Path will be bringing a lot of our classic events, such as providing players a free Character Slot Expansion to start their journey, and rewards for leveling or even playing with her! And on the weekend, players will be able obtain a Magic Wardrobe Ticket (Costume Suit), allowing players to pick which costume suit look they want for their favorite character!

While Raven is known by many players as a skilled swordsman with a Nasod Arm, his 4^th Path goes on a path of revenge. After unlocking Venom Taker, players will be able to access his Valasia Seed system, utilizing his Nasod Arm combined with Alterasia. By attacking enemies with the Nasod Core while he is Awakened, or with Special Active skills, will plant seeds into his enemies, aiding Raven to destroy them from the inside out! 
 
Players can prepare to plant the seeds of the dead into their enemies with a free Character Slot given to players as the Max Character Slot limit is increased to 59. Players can also enjoy many events specifically for Raven’s 4^th path to earn rewards such as Sage’s Magic Stones to socket their equipment, giving him powerful stats like Critical and Maximize.

Gameforge and developer KOG Games are releasing the next update to their successful anime sidescroller Elsword today. Following the first path of the third class change, the 12 Elsword heroes are now receiving their next expansion with the second path.

As a result, players will in future be able to rise from Rune Knight to Rune Master, Aisha from Soul Princess to Oz Wizard and Rose transforms from the Crimson Rose to become the Black Massacre.

Along with the new boost for the characters, the gameis also delivering a wealth of special events to help level up the heroes much more quickly than usual. Newcomers to the game will also be welcomed with events that ease their entry. With the new second path, experienced veterans will get a selection of costumes to help refresh their heroes both in play and battle.

Former players who choose to return to the fantastic world of Elios can look forward to a welcome gift with some special equipment and items.

Overall, this is a very good catch up mechanic for new players. It’s also fantastic for players that are leveling alt characters.

Finally at the end of our list what I consider the best online anime game, Elsword Online. Elsword Online is a 2.5D sidescrolling beat’em up MMORPG. The game features 3 character classes to choose from with different play styles. The art and music is enjoyable but most importantly the gameplay is fun. I have yet to watch Elsword but I think this game is worth looking into even if you’re like me and haven’t watched the show. Whether you’re an Elsword fan or not, Elsword Online is a fun sidescrolling MMORPG and definitely worth playing.

MMORPG Elsword launched on Steam  on June 14th, and the game is following up with the first big update is live. The next level of evolution is go!

The latest update brings the 3rd class change for all characters, starting with the first of three paths. The second path will be unlocked soon, and unfortunately there is no ETA on when that will exactly be.

The class change allows hero Elsword to rise from his High Knight (Transcendence) class into the Templar Knight class, for example. The new classes are faster, stronger and promise even more gaming fun.

Alongside this class change opportunity, there is also new content in the story: the update continues the plot. The thrilling fight against the Henir Order heads into the next round.

The class change and the story update are available to all players above level 99. In order to carry out the class change, players have to complete a quest that leads them into the dungeon ‘Lost Elian Sanctuary’. This cave, once filled with EL’s power, surfaced through the heavy fighting in the Eldrit Tower.

As an additional feature, the Magic Wardrobe has been expanded to include over 1600 more accessories.

Unique visual appeal and theme: A comic adaptation

If there is one thing unique about Elsword is the addition of comics. Background story, cutscenes and interactions between NPCs seems more comical and engaging suitable for both adults and children of all ages. As I am sure you’ve noticed, Elsword also consist of 3D elements especially in maps where you walk AROUND it, literally. While it is still categorized as a side-scrolling MMORPG, but to place it under the conventional 2D MMO is definitely not it. Aside from that, casting of special skills or combos, triggers certain cutscenes that were made to seem 3D with a bit of anime/comic style which we do not see nowadays. In short, the comical feel to it is astounding and highly suitable to the game. So, job well done!

Classes and customization

Now, MMORPGs nowadays are expected to have a lot of classes, or at least, job specialization that would pull you into the game. Do no fret because Elsword paints a picture on it all.

In addition to having your standard 11 classes, each play style is different to better accommodate the player themselves and what sort of influence they have on the environment. Note that each class is fairly balanced and solely requires the skill and reaction time of the players themselves, making PVP all the more exciting. While there is a class named Elsword, the typical main character swordsman of any comic, other classes do have their own backstory or class quests. So do not feel like you’re an outcast, just take it as if your character hailed an underdog story or a spin-off series. Trust me, you will not feel like you’re the side character.

One thing about this game that really bugs me is the character customization. Each class is gender-locked and you clearly have no way around it. Customization is EXTREMELY LIMITED, so much that the developers rather have you pay real money to make your character seem more unique compared to others. Well, gee no thank you. If you’re someone who emphasizes the term, “look good, play good”, then go ahead and spend some money to flaunt yourselves.

Gameplay, combat and roleplaying.

Elsword combat system functions on a combo system, requiring you to time yourself and dish out a set of movements or skills to allow maximum damage. It’s not all about dealing the most damage, but disabling, knocking out and also assuring that your enemies have no chance to counteract. It is all strategy and skill. Of course, if you’re just looking to blast, slice apart and demolish your enemies then that is also applicable to this game. Who knows, you might be good at it?

Summary

As far as playing the game for a few hours, I’ve come to realize that this game is not essentially living up to the term of MMORPG but merely RPG itself. With the right set of skills or movements and disregarding armour, you can literally solo any boss fights or dungeon. That is why I feel that this game is a competition between other players, interaction, joining parties and role-playing is not heavily implemented into it. Role-playing is already fixed into each character by their story and cutscenes.
